We will not have TV commercials, but there will be online ads (and we already have lots of print ads - as our scavenger hunt contest members already know!)

It seemed to go OK the last time I dared to speak my mind, so I'll try again, for anyone who cares about reading my thoughts on the game so far... for everyone else, I'm sorry! I know my opinions don't count for anything!
I'm about 10 hours into the game, I was really surprised by how "open" the game feels. I hadn't read it in any reviews, but there are several points where you are given a choice, and there is no "wrong" choice. Parts of the story change based on the decision, and you can do some quests "out of order". Since that means you'll sometimes know things you'd otherwise not know, the cut-scenes change to reflect it! The story eventually ends up in the same place regardless of the choice made, but the writing is very clever in how it handles the storyline separating and re-connecting at different points. I'd give an example, but I don't want to spoil it!
The other 2 things that impress me are the writing and the voice acting. I'm saddened how often the writing is ignored, or complained about, in the reviews I've seen of the game. The interaction between the 5 main characters at this point feels very natural. The main 4 (Lloyd, Colette, Genis and Raine) all talk like people who have known each other for a long time, very open and relaxed with each other. I liked how Raine keeps slapping Genis on the back of the head any time he acts too "big for his britches" (does that date me?). ...And Kratos plays the role of the "outsider", dryly observing and commenting on the other 4 (usually Lloyd).
As for the voice-acting, it just feels right to me. I know it can be a touchy subject, but I really believe that only people who have already made up their minds on English voice acting in Japanese cartoons and games will not like it. What surprised me the most was Raine, who seemed kinda...flat? in the school-room scene that IGN had movies of. I wasn't expecting to like her, but after she joined the group, she easily became my favorite character!
Sometimes it seems like only games with "Final" or "Fantasy" in the title seem to be considered excellent, no matter how flawed. If there was any justice, Tales of Symphonia should win a lot of awards...
But, we live in an unjust world in unjust times...
