If your G122 is a b1 and the drivers still cannot detect the device, I suggest uninstalling all drivers, replug the PCI into the slot and restart your pc. It should recognize a new hardware device (ignore the wizard), and then proceed to reinstalling the Gigabyte drivers. If not, try an older version of the drivers (1.41 instead of 1.5).
No problem, my Nintendo USB-Connector should arrive tomorrow.

Now I set all my hopes onto the official USB-Connector from Nintendo...
