However we do have two different types of offline multiplayer modes: a two-player split screen and a turn-based "hot seat" for 1-4 players.
Characters do have upgradeable stats, which will improve his or her performance within the game. We simplified it to 4 stats that affect speed and boost for example. The upgrade system is based on the performance of the player and also includes an element of choice. So depending on the result of any given event, the player will be awarded specific stats in relation to the event type. For example, speed would be rewarded for a good result in a racing event.
