Demos sollten Gratis sein (siehe 360)... Ich meine, verkauft man etwa Werbeplakate an Passanten?

Kann nicht sein. Bei PSP und PS2 bekommt man kostenlose DVD/UMD nach Hause geschickt und bei PS3 sollen die runterladbare Demos was kosten? Nie im Leben....

Es geht nicht um herunterladbare Demos, sondern um Demostationen in Geschäften, in welchen man wie an Arcade-Automaten gegen eine kleine Gebühr spielen könnte. Auch wäre dies eher für den japanischen Markt. Es ist aber trotzdem nicht sicher, Kutaragi sagte nur, das man sowas in Erwägung ziehen KÖNNTE.

So sagen es IGN und Eurogamer.

Lair mit 1080p

Lair is not upscaling or cheating to get to 1080p, we are natively running at the full 1920x1080 progressive resolution. Earlier this year we were quite skeptical if that would be possible, but the final kits really were a revelation in terms of power. Sony delivered what they promised and after a bit of tweaking we had the game up-and running. One thing that did help us was that our engine always was heavily reliant on data streaming, so the larger frame buffer memory never was an issue. By now half of our staff has 1080p monitors, and believe me, the 720 guys are jealous.

Unfortunately most of the speech was filled with technical details on GPS, GMS, shopping, banking, networking, and so forth. A few noteworthy things, demos will cost $1, you will be able to download 16bit games (MegaDrive Genesis, and PC Engine TurboGrafx) over the network, and share them with friends. During a short Q&A it was revelaed that the 20gig version will now also feature HDMI, and will receive a price reduction (from 535 to $430) in Japan, as a result of consumer complaints about the high price.
