Auch wenn es im War rauer zugehen mag, solltet ihr ein gewisses Maß an Anstand bewahren und euren Gegenüber nicht herabwürdigen.
Whilst these are great games, this isn’t a great collection. With almost no extras, very little tweaking of the games for the Switch and no Super Mario Galaxy 2 this just isn’t quite what I’d hoped for.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars is a lackluster collection of three (mostly) excellent, timeless games. Nintendo has shown us what it can do when the effort is put in with 2004's Super Mario 64 DS, so the lack of attention afforded here stings all the more.

Despite boasting three of the most beloved platformers of all time, Super Mario 3D All-Stars too often resembles a hurried re-release as opposed to an act of careful curation

A collection that includes three all-time classics, but not in the way we would have loved to see and play. For their suggested retail price and their limited availability, we would have loved to see a project equal to Super Mario All-Stars on the SNES, rather than a mostly upscaled increase in resolution and all the necessary conversion edits.

A decent collection. It doesn’t try to impress with extra features or fancy padding; it simply puts three games from the past in a simple collection for old fans to enjoy. But without even the slightest of tweaks aside from a resolution boost, Super Mario 64 is painful to play. Sunshine and Galaxy, on the other hand, are a joy to revisit, but they’re still a pretty hard sell when the superior-in-every-way Super Mario Odyssey is much more readily available.

There’s no denying that Super Mario 64, Sunshine and Galaxy are all masterpieces of their time. But without modern trimmings, this is a series that will only fully be appreciated by incredibly hardcore fans. Newcomers to these games may find themselves quickly turned off by the limitations of older software and controls. So while fun, the lack of effort put into Super Mario 3D All-Stars is very disappointing."

Super Mario 3D All-Stars offers three spectacular games in the least inspired way possible. It's amazing to see these games reaching a whole new generation of gamers, but taking into account that Mario is Nintendo's flagship series, they could have made a greater effort.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars is frustrating, because it could be more. It could be so much more. But even with Nintendo phoning it in, the games themselves are such classics that they're still worth putting in your Switch library.

If you’re a Nintendo fan, you’re going to want to get Super Mario 3D All-Stars. However, just because the games are good doesn’t mean that these ports are great. They’re adequate, which has to be enough, I guess.

Super Mario deserved a better celebration, because this collection is incomplete and It doesn't improve the 3D classic titles in a proper way. However, these are still incredible games and it's good to have them in Nintendo Switch.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars offers three excellent games in close to their original forms, but it misses a lot of opportunities to polish and improve them

Three incredible games that, gameplay-wise, have barely aged, packed in disappointing collection with virtually no new features. It’s a shame that Nintendo didn’t try harder to update these games, but that aside, these three Marios remain incredible."

Much like an actual 35th birthday party (I assume), Super Mario 3D All-Stars just feels a little halfhearted. It bundles together three great platformers, all of which benefit from the bump up to HD resolutions, and Nintendo have done well to adapt the varying controls to suit the Nintendo Switch, but there's a squandered opportunity to enhance and go beyond this in a meaningful way. Maybe Nintendo are saving themselves for the big five-oh in 2035

@mogry

Ein Sargnagel für die Sony Hater, Microsofts kürzlich angedeutete Preiserhöhung war da natürlich nur ein Ausrutscher :nix:
