Its official, Microsoft will present its Durango/new Xbox in May 21. That day rumors will become reality (some ones). Polygon has new details for Durango, like you can reckon, the machine will share some aspects with PS4. Alike in some parts, sworn enemies in others:

Video Sharing: Capture and share your videos through Ustream and Facebook. This system will allow the player to configure this tool under different parameters. You will be able to turn it on/off or record some certain moments. Moreover, this system will work like a DVR, so, you can record everything and just select certain moments to share, the highlights of your game.
Achievements: Once the games hit the shelves, the publishers will be able to add more achievements. This function could change slightly the players behavior.
Xbox Live: Microsoft wants to improve this service to get a better align with Facebook or Twitter. Forget the friends cap, this time you can choose to follow whoever you want. Xbox Live meets Twitter.


We want to stand out these points; we keep our word about the always online. Durango won’t need internet connection to run games or apps (Games & Apps that you can run without internet, obviously).

Im Research-Projekt hängt Kinect direkt neben dem Projektor unter der Decke. Problem hierbei wieder: Länge der Verkabelung zur Anlage bzw. XBox.

@sisxoo: Ich glaube nicht, dass morgen noch mehr kommt. An Infos war das wohl vorerst alles. Bin gespannt, ob es ein vergleichbares Produkt jemals zur Marktreife schafft.

Ist schon sehr interessant wie sich die Gerüchte alle wandeln im laufe der Zeit. Am Anfang waren sich alle Seiten so sicher das ein Dauer-Online-DRM kommen wird und nun ist es plötzlich die Entscheidung der Publisher. An und für sich sehr merkwürdig bei der PS4 war alles sehr treffsicher bei der X3 gibt es unzählige widersprüchliche Gerüchte...

Zu IllumiRoom: Ich finde das sieht ganz interessant aus, aber sinnvoll kann man es ja wirklich nur Abends einsetzen. Auch wird es wohl sinnvoll auch nur an Wänden gehen und nicht in Ecken usw. Mal schauen.

Die 720 wird also mehr Twitter like und die PS4 mehr so wie Facebook.

Ich weiß wie ich diese Social Konsolen finden soll....
Facebook nutze ich schon Jahre nicht mehr, weil ich nicht wissen will was Freunde von Freunden von Freunden so gefällt.
Twitter nutze ich aber regelmäßig, da man so sehr schnell an gewollte Informationen kommen kann.
Aber brauche ich sowas auf einer Konsole?

Obwohl dieses Tipp/Troll System von Dark Souls schon ganz cool war.

Nur hat man hier die Gefahr gespoilert zuwerden......



Ich lasse mich am 21. mal überraschen.
Werde die Social Sachen aber bestimmt, wie auch schon bei der PS4, total sinnlos finden.
