In den US Foren geht es jetzt so richtig die News ist eingeschlagen wie ne Bombe und alle spekulieren jetzt
was am 11. November passieren wird. Die News soll den War unter den Konsolen beenden und Frieden bringen.


Hier ein paar Annahmen:

Auf der CES 2007 hat Chris Satchell (General Manager von Microsofts Game Development Group) seine Meinung zum Playstation 3 Online Service geäussert und ihn im Vergleich zu Xbox Live als ein Disaster beschrieben. Er gibt Sony deswegen den Rat, Xbox Live ein wenig genauer zu kopieren um den eigenen zu verbessern. Sony rede nur davon dass der Service kostenlos ist. Wenn sie halt nichts haben, dann ist es logisch dass dieser kostenlos sei.


Satchell bore similar sentiments. “If I wanted to make my online service better, and I wanted to give [Sony] a little piece of advice, it would be to copy Xbox Live a little more closely,” he said.

“My honest opinion is that it’s pretty much a disaster. They keep saying that they have a free service. Well, if they don’t have anything, of course it’s free. And you know what: what’s free about $600?”

Als GamesIndustry.biz Peter Moore darauf ansprach meinte dieser, dass es sogar eine Firma wie Microsoft vier Jahre gekostet habe, den Xbox Live Service zu entwickeln, von den 2 Jahren der Backend-Sachen ganz abgesehen. Man muss für Skalierbarkeit und Load Balancing sorgen, in 32 Ländern den Service ans Laufen bringen und das Dashboard lokalisieren.

Es läge einfach nicht in Sonys DNA dies zu bewerkstelligen und von Grund auf zu entwickeln. Moore meint, dass diese Jahre bräuchten diesen Punkt zu erreichen. Er ist sich auch nicht sicher ob Sony das Talent dazu besitzen würde.

Nochmal ich erwähne immer wieer gerne dsa verhalten von Hunden de bellen oder knurren wenn man vor etwas angst hat. Und genau dieses passiert doch hier gerade. Und das nicht nur von den XBOTS im Forum sondern von sowas wie Moore persönlich^^

Ähm.... es war wohl, mal abgesehen von den Sony Fanboys, allen klar, dass Sony niemals so etwas wie Live auf die Beine stellen wird. Vielleicht bei der PS4, aber sicher nicht mit der PS3.

Verdreh nicht immer die tatsachen...wenns einer mit den nerv bekommen sollte weil die konkurenz stärker geworden ist dann der momentane marktführer, sony....

I don't think it will be Final Fantasy because that wouldn't be so huge. I mean FFXI came out on 360 anyway, but it could be MGS4 because that is huge, everyone all over the world likes that, but that would almost kill the PS3 (for me anyway apart from Devil May Cry) NOT bring peace to all console owners as stated in the thread. It could be the Blu-Ray drive for 360, the Zephyr may also not be HUGE news because it was already leaked, that would just be confirming a rumor, and it would not bring peace.

It could be that 360 has a new motion sensing conrtoller, so there is nothing the Wii or PS3 has on it. This would be plausable, as some big RTS gaes are comming out, and a montion sensing, mouse like control would be great navigation, better than analouge sticks. Imagine Halo Wars being put down by critics due to the controls.

Or it could be that somehow, PS3 and 360 games that are multi format can play online against each other, or it could be a web browser for the 360.

I don't know which one, but all of these seem to be good ideas to me. What do you think?

Laut EGM soll es aber erst im Sommer erscheinen für die 360. Für die PS3 gibt es ja schoin einen offiziellen Termin. Den sah man bei der 360 noch nicht^^

Microsoft hat überhaupt keine Angst vor Sony
Wieso sollten sie auch.
Manche brauen sich auch nur das zusammen was sie hören wollen.

Was heißt hier verdrehen? Morre und Co sind doch diejenigen die gegen Sony knurren und bellen. Und das ncihtmal richtig niveauvoll.
