FUNimation, the company behind the world famous English dub of Dragon Ball Z, has announced the English dub of the movie will premiere on July 2, 2015! The theater hosting the event will be the Regal LA Live Stadium 14 in Los Angeles, CA, with a time of 8:00 PM. The premiere coincides with opening night of Anime Expo 2015, the largest anime and manga convention in North America, located less than half a mile away at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Sean Schemmel (the voice of Goku) and Christopher R. Sabat (the voice of Vegeta/Piccolo) will be attending the premiere, which will also feature a red carpet event prior to the screening.
Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F opened in Japanese theaters officially on April 18, 2015 and FUNimation hosted an American premiere of the movie with Japanese audio and English subtitles on April 11, 2015 in Los Angeles. The movie will make its way to theaters nationwide August 4-12. Tickets will be made available starting later this month at dragonballz.com.
