he's made a pretty stupid mistake - or he has the most warped opinion on the face of the earth:
"It's easier to move the camera around with the Wii Remote, too."
Excuse me, Mr. Jeff...but uh...there is no "camera" control on Wii outside trying to align it with Z-targeting. The GameCube version has the camera control. So uh, you might want to clarify that statement, or retract it before you get more rabbid fanboys pissed off. He also says the Spin Attack is not as useful.
"On the GameCube, if you try to use it [the spin attack] to get out of trouble, you're likely to get hit and knocked out of the charge time before you're able to spin. "
Ever heard of the quick spin attack, Jeff? Several readers argued with me that the "Quick Spin" ruins the game. Well I argue the spin attack on Wii was too damn easy to pull off and made the game a joke. By having to either wait, like normal, or pull off a slightly harder quick spin, the game's challenge level rises back to what is expected. Yeah, because of the spin attack mechanics, the GCN version is slightly more difficult, which is how it should be.
Don't mean to beat at a dead horse, but he's left in one statement I really hate seing people try to use against Zelda because it is simply not true.
"Like most other Zelda games, Twilight Princess is a retelling of the same basic tale, though this one is not without its twists."
No, it isn't. It's a stereotype perpetuated by people who are too ignorant to realize otherwise. Link's Awakening is not a retellling of any game, nor is Majora's Mask or The Minish Cap or The Adventure of Link. Not even close.
