Nintendo Entertainment Company announced today the partnership with legendary filmmaker/actor Mel Brooks to colaberate some last minute details into the upcoming Nintendo blockbuster The Legend of Zelda: Twlilight Princess. With just a tad bit of Alcohol, and a little persuasion from a box full of the finest cuban cigars available, Mel Brooks prusuaded NCL's own Shiguru Miyamoto and president Saturu Iwata into allowing Brooks put some of his talents into the game.
"We feel the time is right to expand our talents into another medium. We have great family favorites currently available to own such as Spaceballs, Blazing Saddles, and Young Frankenstine. But we feel the videogame market is a good source of entertainment, and we at Brooks and Co. feel that the best way into it is none other then Nintendo Power Company of amercia...wait a minute? Did I get that right? Oh crap. Sorry. Nintendo Entertainment Company. Are you sure? That still sounds a little funny..." said a spokesmen to Brooks on early Monday morning.
What does this mean for The Legend of Zelda fans, however? "Expect more hollywood explosions like never before." Said Brooks himself from his malibu vacation spot. "In one scene, we have Link driving his car, the Aston Martin DBS, which is the same car driven by James Bond, off a cliff in a mad getaway from some Moblins, and in his last attempt for survival, ejects himself from the falling vehicle just before impact and he of course reaches safty with his parachute, which has an image of Dark Helmet himself on it. Its those little touches we bring that is REALLY going to make this game shine."
Not everything is as of yet clear on whats going to be added by Brooks and Co. but here is a listing of everything we do know.
* Link can now dance. As a mini game thrown together at the last minute, Link enters a disco at the castle for some dancing and even has a solo dance with stars such as Uma Thurman, Jennifer Lopez, and Hallie Berry
* It's uncomfirmed what role he will be having, but Gene Wilder, who has appeared in movies with Mel Brooks in the past, will have some sort of cameo. Perhaps he will return as Willie Wonka? We will keep our fingers crossed.
* A large cast of actors and musicians will be used as good and bad charcters, including Peter Jackson, Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey, Jeff Foxworthy, Garth Brooks, James Blunt, Larry the Cableguy, Cedric the Entertainer, Randy Travis, Garth Brooks, Kirstin Dunst, Chevy Chase, Snoop Dogg, Tom Hanks, Samuel L. Jackson, John Lovitz, Weird Al Yankovic, Rowen Atkison, Dan Castlenetta as Homer J Simpson, Billy Bob Thronton, Cameron Diaz and many many more.
* Link has a voice! He can finally talk. And the actor behind the voice is actor Bruce Willis.
* Natalie Portman provids the voice for Princess Zelda, with little Dakota Fanning as Minda, the weird ass girl the rides on Link the Wolfs back.
* Cartoonish blood. "We feel we need as much blood as possible, but as this is a Nintendo game, we need to make sure not to upset small children. So the blood will look cartoony." adds a spokesman to brooks upon questionig.
* An unexpected battle between Dark Helmet and Ganondorf, in which Link is prematurly forced to flee for his life. "Expect BIG explosions in this grissley encounter by two beloved Supervillians!! We love explosions. Expect a LOT of em." says Brooks.
* A donkey named Timmy takes Eponas place. "We feel Epona has been overused" comments Brooks.
* Links left arm gets blown off. We dont exactly say how, as we are on NDA.... (OH CRAP HAROLD I JUST TOLD THEM SOMETHING ON NDA!!! OH NO!!!) (Edit it out then, you little punk!! Do you want us to get sued?!) (But its too late!!! Its already in print!!!)
* space void because of technical difficulties
Nintendo had no comment. They looked a little pissed and mubled something under their breath that sounded suspiciously like "...get us drunk and get us to sign a contract...ill murder..." and thats all we have. We assume they are talking about their past encounter with Sony while working on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. More as it breaks.

TSA: Hi. What is up with the release status of Twilight Princess - is it coming out on GCN everywhere, or just here? Also, will we be able to use the GCN controller for the Wii version?
NOA_GEORGE_HARRISON: Zelda TP will be releasing on both GCN and Wii on the same day as the launch of Wii.
NOA_GEORGE_HARRISON: The GCN controller will be able to play the GCN version on the Wii console, but will not be able to play the Wii version.
