PS4/PS5/Vita The Games of PLAYSTATION

Aber am Ende wird eh die Hälfte auf 2017 verschoben. :v:

Tokyo Xanadu introduces homeroom teacher cousin, Other World Xiphone app

Dengeki PlayStation this week reveals a few new characters joining Tokyo Xanadu‘s supporting cast, including a homeroom teacher who’s also the main character Kou Tokisaka’s cousin.

Towa Kokonoe (voiced by Ai Nonoka) is Kou’s 23 year-old cousin. She’s a homeroom teacher new to Morimiya High School in charge of the second year students, as well as a committee advisor and grade chief counselor. She’s also in charge of mathematics and data processing. On the weekends, she helps her grandfather out as a shrine maiden at the Kokonoe Shrine, and also teaches Kokonoe-style jujitsu at a dojo. She calls her cousin Kou-kun, and while she makes sure to call him Tokisawa-kun at school, she sometimes slips up and pokes fun at him. She tends to worry about Kou and his part-time work.

More interestingly, Tokyo Xanadu‘s Towa Kokonoe apparently has the same face as The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel‘s Towa Herschel (pictured). But given their different worlds, the two Towas are in no way connected.

Two more characters are also revealed (names to be confirmed):

Sousuke Kokonoe (voiced by Takayuki Sugo) – 70 years old. Towa’s grandfather and the priest of the Kokonoe Shrine. He has a strict air about him but is actually calm and playful. He’s the head of the family Kokonoe-style jujitsu and taught the martial art to Kou up until he entered high school. The Kokonoe style and Ikushima style have intermingled since ancient times. And there was a time Sora Ikushima also trained in the Kokonoe style, as well.
Gorou Saiki (voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa) – 28 years old. An extraordinary, glasses-wearing, and handsome English teacher popular among the girls. Male students are jealous of him, but gradually trust him thanks to his unmatched friendliness. He enjoys mountain climbing, and on his days off, he likes to visit historic sites.

On the system side, Dengeki has details about the “Other World Search” app. The story progresses as you explore Morimiya City. “Other World Search” is an app you install on your Xiphone. When you start the app, a percentage indicator appears in the upper left corner of the screen, which increases as you get closer to an “Other World Trigger Site” on the map. When the counter reaches its max, a GatePoint indicator appears, and pressing the L button opens a gate to the Other World. It’s possible to remove Kou from your party while exploring the Other World.

The magazine also has some details on Kou’s three exclusive parameters: wisdom, courage, and compassion. Each can be increased a maximum of five stars. Wisdom affects the actions Kou takes during main events, as well as the special items he gets. Bravery affects battles results. And compassion deepens his exchanges with other characters. These parameters also affect the main story and its final ending.

Tokyo Xanadu is due out for PS Vita in Japan on September 30.

Capcom Hopes to Steadily Develop For PS4 From Now On; Future of Devil May Cry Series Undecided

For the DMC series, it’s undecided at the moment. However, the fans that have been waiting for the DMC4 Special Edition on the eve of the 7th anniversary seem to have been numerous. I think the voice of the core fans is strong, and we want to be firmly in touch in the future.

For what concerns the hardware, DMC, Sengoku Basara and Resident Evil games are being released on PS4.Charming PS4 titles have been announced at E3 the other day. For us, we hope to steadily develop games for PS4 in the future.
It’ll definitely be interesting to see what Capcom

:goodwork:
