Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 details Edit Mode

Koei Tecmo has released new details and media on Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3‘s “Edit Mode,” which lets players create their own character, from facial features to weapons, armor, and accessories.

Get the information below.

Edit Mode

Among the key features of the game is the edit mode, where the player can create their own character. Being implemented from the fan-favorite version released with Samurai Warriors 4, the edit mode allows for a very deep level of customization and vast selection of facial features, armor, weapons and accessories. What is unique in Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 though, is that for the first time players will be able to equip their customized characters with the default costumes of the famous warriors they befriend!

Creating and maintaining relationships with officers and warriors is a very important part of Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3, as it allows players to listen in to their thoughts and plans and affect them to their desired effect. In that way the game takes a different turn, as the story mode is completely in the players’ hands and the outcomes of battles, alliances, and ultimately the conclusion of the game, is altered by their actions.

Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 is due out for PS Vita and 3DS via digital download on June 26 in Europe and in North America on June 30.

Amnesia: Memories screenshots feature Ikki

The latest set of Amnesia: Memories screenshots introduce Ikki, one of PS Vita and PC visual novel’s five love interests.

Ikki is the “playboy” of the group with “untold depths.” He may come off as callous at first, but if you play your cards right, he might soon only have his eyes on the heroine.

If you missed it, previous screenshots have introduced Kent, also one of the game’s love interests.

Amnesia: Memories is due out for PS Vita in North America and Europe this August, with a PC release via Steam due soon after. Find more information here.

Grand Kingdom debut trailer, website opened

Spike Chunsoft and MonoChro have opened the official website and released the first trailer for Grand Kingdom, its newly announced tactical RPG for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita from Grand Knights History director Tomohiko Deguchi.

Here are some quick bullets, via the official website:

You can employ class-based units that possess various special characteristics for your mercenary group. Then head into battle via quests or online.
The player is a rookie mercenary leader who belongs to the guild, and can have his group take on the requests that come in from each nation. But there are things happening behind the scenes of war, and the player gets involved in a major incident that involves the entire continent. The story will be fully voiced and promises a charming cast.
Arrange your units and gimmicks, take on strategic battle formations, and combine those with various action-oriented techniques.
Via online play, four major powers battle for dominance. Promise your allegiance to one country, or fight for your own wealth and fame. It all depends on you.
PlayStation 4 and PS Vita users can play online together via cross-play.

Here’s the story synopsis:

More than 100 years since the fall of the Oldein Empire, mercenaries, not soldiers, are burdened with leading battles upon the ruined land.

That person did it to make end’s meet… That one to take advantage and earn a profit amidst the chaos… They exposed themselves to death for loyalty.

As the leader of groups of newbie mercenaries, they are responsible for guiding forces into many battlefields. At the same time, shadows move in secret. That will cause a major incident to occur within the continent. This is the story of the mercenaries living in a world of warfare.

Grand Kingdom is due out later this year in Japan.

A PlayStation 4 listing for Digimon World: Cyber Sleuth has appeared on Amazon Canada.

This would, of course, be the English localization for Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, which launched for PS Vita in Japan in February.

Bandai Namco has been localizing its Japanese games with added PlayStation 4 versions lately. Tales of Zestiria, previously PlayStation 3-only, got a PlayStation 4 (and PC) version. J-Stars Victory VS+, previously PlayStation 3 and PS Vita-only, got a PlayStation 4 version. And Godzilla, previously PlayStation 3-only, got a PlayStation 4 version. Even Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, previously launched for PS Vita, is getting a PlayStation 4 version this summer.

A PS Vita version of the game is not listed.
