Tokyo Xanadu screenshots introduce Tomoaki, Morimaru, and Kizuna Episodes

This week’s Tokyo Xanadu update introduces new characters Tomoaki Mikuriya and Morimaru, heir to the Mikuriya Group and the mascot of Morimiya City, respectively, as well as the Kizuna Episodes event system.

Get the information below.

Characters

Tomoaki Mikuriya (voiced by Hisayoshi Suganuma)

LLvWNQm.jpg

29 years old. The narcissistic and overly self-conscious heir to the Mikuriya Group and a candidate for leader of the Zodiac organization transferred to Morimiya City.

Although the Mikuriya Group does not link itself to the 12 companies connected to Zodiac, as a group under its umbrella and because Mikuriya carries weight in the business community, the Tomoaki name has risen as a leadership candidate.

In the Mikuriya household, there is talk of an arranged marriage with Mitsuki, the successor candidate to the Hokuto Group.

Morimaru

hR98IGV.jpg

Morimiya City’s popular mascot character.

Morimaru acts as a PR ambassador for Morimiya City, as well as advsior to the Mitama Udo Farmers Association. He also seems to have some wildly enthusiastic fans.

He seems to be a fairy that has watched over Morimiya City since ancient times, but even though it has the topknot hair style, kimono, and “gozaru” speech nuance, it doesn’t really look at all like a samurai.

As a matter of fact, he’s a fan of the idol group SPiKA, and is looking forward to their next concert to be held in Morimiya City.

Kizuna Episodes

During your free exploration of the real world, you’ll be able to see special events called “Kizuna Episodes” for characters you encounter by using a special item called a “Fragment of Fate.”

In addition to getting a deeper look into the background of each character, Kizuna Episodes will also raise your character’s Soul Level.

You’ll obtain Fragments of Fate as you advance through the main story, as you explore, and so on. There are various ways to obtain them.

Some example scenarios follow:

Asuka Hiiragi

HILlcTp.jpg

Asuka is slightly shocked by Kou’s thoughtless actions. Through information obtained from her classmate Shiori, Asuka seems to have found something out about Kou…

Shio Takahata

thjGCsS.jpg

Shio takes it upon himself to solve a problem that occurred among delinquents. The contents of which he confides with Kou…

Towa Kokonoe

6htPRtT.jpg

Towa, Kou’s homeroom teacher and cousin, works as a shrine maiden at the Kokonoe Shrine on weekends. But how will Towa react when Kou comes to visit and sees her in that setting…?

Tokyo Xanadu is due out for PS Vita in Japan on September 30.

Tokyo Xanadu screenshots introduce White Shroud, the Holy Spirit Church, and Orden

This week’s Tokyo Xanadu update introduces White Shroud, a mysterious character who wears all white and belongs to a group that aims to seal the Other World. That group, Orden, and the Holy Spirit Church above it are also introduced.

Get the details below.

Characters

White Shroud (voice actor unknown)

4Dsnh4T.jpg

A mysterious fellow who acts in order to seal the Other World. He is hostile towards Kou and the other main characters. As a knight with an unidentifiable seal, he belongs to Chronos Orden, a group of armed knights informally employed by the Holy Spirit Church.

His views are different from Nemesis and Zodiac. He seems to move around Morimiya City for the intent purpose of sealing the Other World, but doesn’t offer to help Kou and the party in their exploration of said world. On the contrary, his speech and conduct towards them is rather hostile, but his true intentions are unknown.

Keywords

Holy Spirit Church

FsO4h9O.jpg

A historical religion that began in the western hemisphere and has since spread across the world. The church is concerned about the Other World’s impact on the real world, and behind the scenes employs the Chronos Orden knights to observe each place and invoke a seal when deemed necessary.

Orden

p2NQFet.jpg

The group of knights informally employed by the Holy Spirit Church. Their official name is Chronos Orden (Knights of the Seal). Unlike Nemesis, which wants to observe the Other World, and Zodiac, which wants to utilize it, their stance is to seal it. Their true intentions, however, are wrapped in mystery,

The members of Chronos Orden are called “Knights of the Seal” and are known for their strange, white-shrouded appearance. It is said their true abilities surpass even those of Nemesis agents, and they are vigilant beings, like reapers from the underworld.

Tokyo Xanadu is due out for PS Vita in Japan on September 30.
