The one-minute video features our first look at gameplay, showcasing “Active Chain Battles” and field traversal.

Here’s a summary of Exist Archive‘s story:

On that day, a mysterious explosion occurred in Tokyo.

12 people, including Kanata Kujo and his fiance Ranze Miwakawa, and two of their friends, went unaccounted for as a result.

Kanata and Ranze were thrust down to the subway from above ground as a result of the sudden explosion.

On the verge of death and in his faded consciousness, Ranze, a person he thought he had a close relationship with, muttered unexpected words.

Dying with you is… unpleasant.

When Kanata next wakes up, he is in a strange place. Ranze nor his friends are to be seen.

A huge tower prodding the sky… crystallized trees… This is clearly not Tokyo. No, it is unlikely that this world is even Earth.

“Am I… dead?” he began to question as he aimlessly moved forward. Then, he comes across a girl—

Tokyo Xanadu screenshots introduce Across Tower, Renga Alley

The latest set of Tokyo Xandau screenshots introduce two new locations in Morimiya City, as well as character clothes changes depending on the season.

Get the information below.

Characters Change Outfits to Match the Season

ZXwaKfZ.jpg

In Tokyo Xanadu, Kou and other main characters’ outfits will change depending on the season. If it’s summer, for example, Kou, Asuka, and other party characters, as well as sub-characters like Shiori, Ryouta, and Jun, will change outfits to original design summer clothes.

New Locations

Across Tower

fVJ4F9a.jpg

A Morimiya City landmark, completed three years prior to the events of the game in collaboration with the Hokuto Group. The tower is also a famous tourist attraction and some say the view over Morimiya City from the sky lounge is the best in the Kanto region.

On the first floor is the “Across Shop,” and on the 10th floor is the “Morimiya City Art Museum.” There are various businesses and cultural facilities within the building. On the 20th floor, the idol group SPiKA, which is celebrating its third anniversary since its debut, is planning a commemoration concert.

Renga Alley

yhHrylV.jpg

An elegant area with western-style scenery. Though retro, there’s a stylish atmosphere that drifts about it, and as one of Morimiya City’s little known hot spots, it’s not only attracted the attention of young people, but of a broad range of people.

Renga Alley features a number of stores, including the “Ichinana Cafe,” where you can enjoy home roasted coffee, as well as top of the line fashion store “Nomad,” the antique shop “Lucort” where Kou works part time, and more.

Tokyo Xanadu is due out for PS Vita in Japan on September 30.

Arslan: The Warriors of Legend screenshots introduce Kishward, Alfreed

Koei Tecmo has released a new set of Arslan: The Warriors of Legend screenshots showcasing newly confirmed characters Kishward and Alfreed.

Additionally, the images offer another look at the game’s combat system. The “Charge Shift” action will allow players to switch between weapons during combo attacks and chain combos longer than usual. In traditional Warriors games, you can chain a combo of about five to six normal and Charge Attacks, but through Arlsan‘s Charge Shift, by switching weapons while connecting combos, you can chain up to 14. The last attack of your combo will be a flash “Finish Attack.” If you defeat an enemy using Charge Shift, you’ll gain more experience and might even get rare item drops.

You’ll also get a look at “Skill Cards,” which are how you’ll strengthen your characters. You can acquire new Skill Cards by defeating enemies and clearing scenarios, and then equip them to your characters. There are over 200 cards to collect, each with their own unique skill effects. Of course, this is an addition to leveling your characters traditionally.

Finally, you’ll see some new stages in the form of “Bashul Mountain,” “Kashan Fortress,” and “Peshawar Fortress.”

Arslan: The Warriors of Legend is due out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan on October 1, and in North America and Europe with an added Xbox One version in early 2016.

Kan Colle Kai PS Vita Game Includes German, Italian Ships

The staff at the "Dai-Ni-Kai 'Kan Colle' Kankanshiki" (2nd 'Kan Colle' Naval Review) event in Yokohama screened new footage from Kadokawa Games' upcoming Kan Colle Kai PS Vita game on Sunday. The footage featured characters from the German Kriegsmarine and the Italian Regia Marina, including the U-511 submarine, the Prinz Eugen heavy cruiser, the Littorio battleship, and the Roma battleship.

In addition, the event also announced that Iori Nomizu (Cat Planet Cuties, Maken-Ki! Battling Venus, Upotte!!) will voice Hayasui, a fleet oiler and new auxiliary ship that will be added to the original browser game. The event also revealed further updates to the browser game, including an increased role for aircraft.

Kadokawa Games announced the Kan Colle Kai PS Vita game at the “Kadokawa Game Studio Media Briefing 2013 Autumn” event. The game's release date was pushed back from August 27 to November 6. The game's release date was previously pushed back from May to August.

The release will include a regular edition for 5,800 yen (about US$48) and a limited edition for 9,800 yen (US$82).

Kadokawa Games launched the original free-to-play browser game with the service provider DMM.com in April 2013. In the game, players compete with cards featuring female moe characters inspired by Japanese World War II warships such as aircraft carriers, battleships, and cruisers. Players build, organize, and repair their anthropomorphized fleet to progress through maps.

The original game is inspired a television anime adaptation. The anime premiered in January.

The event also announced that the franchise will get an anime film in 2016. The final episode of the television anime series had revealed in March that the television anime would get a sequel. The anime's official Twitter account indicates that the movie and the sequel are separate projects that are going into production at the same time.
