PS4/PS5/Vita The Games of PLAYSTATION

Hoffentlich kommt Stranger of Sword City als nächstes!!

Heyho, Leutz,

Was gibt es denn da an Rollenspielen?

Gibts da was ähnliches? Oder muss ich auf PS_one-Titel zurückgreifen? Relativ überschaubar erscheint das Angebot ja schon... :-/

Werds mir wohl kaufen, mal sehen.

SaGa 2015 has elements that make it ‘like a Romacing SaGa 4′

An interview with SaGa series creator Akitoshi Kawazu in Famitsu this week reveals what players can atmospherically expect from SaGa 2015 when it launches on PS Vita next year.

When asked about what genre the game is, Kawazu simply states that it’s a “standard RPG,” but that it will continue the series’ trademark of nonlinear gameplay and that the story will have several protagonists in it.

Regarding just how the character depicted in the first set of revealed concept art is, Kawazu says that he’s “Fire Bringer,” the god of the world in the game. As for who the girl and black-haired guy are, though, he’s remaining mum.

Lastly, with regards to the overall feel of the game, Kawazu answers, “In terms of the overall setting, it’s close to something like Romancing SaGa and if you looked at it just through that lens, we could have even called it ‘Romancing SaGa 4.’ On the other hand, there are parts of it that aren’t evocative of the Romancing SaGa games, making it a bit inappropriate to actually call the game that.”

Thanks, Hachima Kikou.

Square Enix explains Final Fantasy Agito+ delay

Final Fantasy Agito+, the PS Vita version of the free-to-play smartphone game, was originally planned for launch in Japan on January 15. But it was delayed in October to an unspecified date. In this week’s issue of Famitsu, Final Fantasy Type-0 HD director Hajime Tabata explains the reason for the delay.

“We discovered a big problem within the development environment, and inevitably had to delay the game,” Tabata said. “This is a problem within the development environment of PS Vita, and there’s not much more we can do as a company. Right now, we’re waiting for an update to the development environment, as well as support from Sony Computer Entertainment. As soon as we can pinpoint a release date, we’ll announce it at a later time.”

Tabata also briefly touched on the current state of Type-0 HD.

“We’ve started debugging and are entering the final stages,” Tabata said. “Cameras and movement speed have also been improved, so battles are a lot easier.”

Tabata demonstrated the game’s new camera at Jump Festa.

Thanks, Hachima Kikou.
