Bandai Namco is making a World Trigger game for PS Vita called World Trigger: Borderless Mission, this week’s Jump reveals.

Due out in Japan next year, the game is a “team cooperation and battle action” title. As in the main series, the game takes place in Border’s headquarters of Mikado City and is said to emphasize creativity in player strategies by giving them a number of options in terms of things such as the platoons and the Triggers they can use.

It also features a multiplayer mode where players can get together and take on missions together, as well as edit their platoons and determine who plays what role in battle, such as Attacker, Shooter, Gunner, and Sniper.

Thanks, @kazuz481.

First look at Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy

Famitsu has gone up with its online preview of the newly announced Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy, Experience’s upcoming PS Vita dungeon RPG sequel to Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy (which is coming westward).

First, let’s introduce the story:

20XX New Year, Tokyo. A special duty unit with superhuman powers known as “The Xth Squad” exists to fight the world’s many approaching enemies. Thanks to their efforts, the bizarre incidents that panicked the world is now a story of the past. Tranquility persisted throughout the cities and the members of EX believed that they had finally put their lives on the battlefield behind them.

However, disaster suddenly strikes. A mysterious object 3,000 kilometers in length known as the “Embyro” all of a sudden appears in the sky. Is this a sign of the end, or of salvation? While the world is an uproar, the United Nations sees the dire situation and requests cooperation from the Code Physics Agency, and the Xth Squad rushes into action. Initially, it looked as though victory was surely in their reach, but things quickly changed….

One of the new system’s of Operation Babel is the ability to customize your character. As shown in the screenshot below, you’ll be able to change your looks, information, type, voice, and “Blood Code” (job class).

Another new element is the “Cross Blood System,” which lets players set both main and sub Blood Codes. Below, you’ll see a character with “Samurai” as his main Blood Code, and “Assassin” as his sub Blood Code.

Operation Babel: New Tokyo Legacy is due out in Japan on April 30.
