cnet schrieb:EA to bring 'Mass Effect' to PS3?
One of the biggest titles to hit the Xbox 360, Mass Effect, may see its sequels on the PlayStation 3. With Electronic Art's purchase of BioWare, the developer of Mass Effect, and EA's history of not limiting itself to one platform, it's kind of a no-brainer. Especially once you throw in a poor economy where every sale counts.
According to the Web site OnAxis, Michael Pachter, Managing Director of Entertainment Software and Retail Research at Wedbush Morgan Securities, said he believes that Mass Effect will not remain an Xbox 360 exclusive.
Speaking with a panel of others on Gametrailer's show Bonus Round, Pachter commented, "Trust me, Electronic Arts, when they threw out the number 300 million...that is multiplatform, that is not 360 only." And when asked if Mass Effect 2 will come to the PS3, he said, "It has to, has to. And you know, I wouldn't be shocked if Mass Effect 1 came to PS3."
An EA rep responded saying, "The rumor regarding Mass Effect being developed for PS3 is inaccurate," which isn't exactly a denial.

SourceWarhawk developer has a successful meeting with Sony Computer Entertainment.
Dylan Jobe of Incognito Entertainment, the folks who brought us Twisted Metal and most recently the online-only Warhawk, has been teasing his Twitter feed with talk of a new meeting with Sony;
"SONY Execs in town today -- Drinking my coffee & getting ready, reviewing notes and finishing up my presentation draft."
Sounds like its time to present a new game concept, or perhaps even the progress of their next PlayStation 3 game. According to Jobe the meetings went great, with the Incognito team and Sony grabbing lunch and beers together afterward. Chummy.
It looks like the team might also be stretching away from online-only (Warhawk's single-player was dropped late in development) and venturing back into a narrative driven single-player, that's if this meeting is anything to go by;
"Just finished an intense story/progression discussion with our game designer -- mentally drained but good results."
Hm, we wonder what the game is.

Tagged Burnout Paradise, and Pure, this "leaked" video seems to show a footage of a street racer in the works by Disney Interactive-owned Black Rock Studio.
With off-road, over-the-top racer Pure and a slew of ATV and MotoGP titles under their belt, it looks like Black Rock wants to get into the street racing business.
Looking over their job vacancies page, it looks like the game will likely be for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. I'm guessing this is the original IP racing game that they were hiring a lead technical artist for back in May.
