Imo sollten sie erst 60FPS zum Standard machen, bevor sie Raytracing in die Spiele einbauen wollen. So hat halt jeder seine eigene Meinung dazu.
sorry kinder, wenn ich das design der ps5 so sehr kritisiere, aber objektiv gesehen ist sie nunmal hässlich. das erinnert mich an das 90er jahre organic design mit vielen ovalen elementen wie damals beim automobildesign und sportschuhen. es ist nicht verwunderlich das diese design ära auch als ugly-design bezeichnet wird.
daher wünsche ich mir bei der ps5 pro wieder ein progressives, eckiges, design und nicht dieses insekten design. und die pro bitte in schwarz rausbringen oder einem dunklen grauton, aber bitte kein krankenhaus weiss.
So ein Trade-In wäre auch nicht verkehrt (könnte so elegant die XSX loswerden)

The latest rumor comes from @Kepler_L2 who has shared the patches for AMD's next-gen RDNA 4 GPUs and its RT (Ray Tracing) engine. It is stated that the AMD RDNA 4 GPUs which are expected to launch with the Radeon RX 8000 graphics card lineup are going to incorporate a new RT engine that should yield much better performance versus the existing engine featured on RDNA 3 chips.\
Digital Foundry: There's been conjecture that the PS5 Pro GPU is benefitting from RT architectural improvements AMD is planning for its upcoming RDNA 4 graphics cards. These enhancements look promising but it's important to point out that a lot of the boost here will be coming from the fact that the PS5 Pro GPU is much larger than the standard model's GPU. So, the 2x to 4x boost is coming from both architectural improvements and the increase in compute units.

Digital Foundry has new and VERY INTERESTING info about PS5 Pro GPU specs via DF Direct early access . I will not post their video or slide as I acknowledge they have to make a living but confirmed specs below:
1. 30 WGPs = 60 Active CUs
2. Configuration: 2 SEs/ 4 SAs (8-7 8-7)
2. 2.35 Ghz Max Boost Clock
3. GL2 Cache =4MB (Same as PS5)
4. GL1 Cache =256kb (PS5 =128kb)
5. GL0V Cache = 32kb (PS5 = 16kb) "Sony Specifically says this increase is to allow for better RT performance"
6. PS5 Pro devkit looks identical to PS5 devkit
7. Extra VRS features above DX12 = Subpixel rasterization offset MSAA. Should handle issues where VRS shows degradation (think Doom Eternal, Dead Space, Cyberpunk VRS artifacts on Xbox)
