Horizon's Aloy is Ripley meets Ygritte. "That's where we started" says Guerrilla

So PS4 exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn from Killzone's Guerrilla Studios was already looking suitably exciting with its hunting, gathering and, oh yes, robotic dinosaurs. Now Guerrilla has been talking to Official PlayStation Magazine about the inspirations for main character Aloy and things are getting even better.

“We felt we had quite an original composition and combination of elements with the robots and the nature, so we also felt like it needed an original and strong character to go with that,” says game director Mathijs de Jonge when asked about influences for their lead. “One of the directions we were very interested in was a character like Sarah Connor in Terminator, Ripley in Alien or, more recently, Ygritte from Game Of Thrones; very strong female characters. That’s where we started.”

Und woher hast du das?
Würde eigentlich eher davon ausgehen, dass man auch mindestens eines der Robo-Viecher darauf sieht.

Auf irgendeiner Seite aufgeschnappt, die behauptete sei in Stein gemeißelt -da z.b. auch Amazon darauf zurückgreift.

Das wäre auch nicht schlecht, scheint doch noch nicht offiziell zu sein! Habe mal was rumgeschaut und nichts weiter gefunden, also eher doch nur Platzhalter mit Spekulatius.

Das sieht mir aber dennoch sehr nach Platzhalter aus. Ist auch zuwenig los. Der obere Packshot würde, von der Inszenierung her, schon mehr Sinn machen.

Robot parts can be hunted as well as obtained from traders/merchants
you can scare a herd of Grazers into a trap using the explosive arrows
Geurrilla consists of 180 staff, expanding from the release of Shadow Fall which was made by 150.
As has been known before, 2 of the new people are John Gonzales (Lead write of Fallout New Vegas and Shadow of Morder) as well as Pawel Swiercynski (cinematics director on Witcher III)
And like every other RPG ever, you can craft new outfits that can buff Aloy stats

Wenn das dein erstes wird hast du aber auch schon viele gute Spiele verpasst!

Ich bin aber auch schon sehr gespannt auf Horizon und finde das Setting schon mal sehr geil gewählt!

In an email by Sony sent to PlayStation LifeStyle, the publisher has clarified that while it’s going to “continue the reveal conversation” it started at E3 about Horizon Zero Dawn, there won’t be any big new details revealed at the show as previously mentioned in the post. However, the game will be present in Sony’s official booth, so non-E3 attendees should be in for a treat nonetheless.
