Das einzige Fragezeichen für mich bei dem Titel ist und bleibt das Gameplay, zu dem man außer diese Mission bei der E3 recht wenig gesehen hat, glaube ich. Japanische Entwickler sind beim Kampfsystem oft sehr gut, und ich denke, man wird auch GoT unweigerlich damit ein wenig in den Vergleich setzen. Optisch und cineastisch sieht es sehr gut aus.

For lovers of Japanese history, PlayStation is the console of dreams, allowing us to immerse ourselves in both realistic and fantastic versions of historical conflicts. We now know Ghost Of Tsushima will be following Nioh 2 (see p76) and Sekiro onto PS4 as soon as June 26. Developed by Sucker Punch, already known for the slick-to-navigate open worlds it created for the Sly Cooper and inFAMOUS series, Ghost gives you the whole island of Tsushima to explore while you attempt to repel a brutal Mongol invasion, based on real-life events.

If you're not a history buff, fear not: this is far from a dry lesson. Sucker Punch is dedicated to bringing the drama of an epic samurai movie to the game, with the team citing the likes of Akira Kurosawa as inspiration. Shigeru Umebayashi is on the team as a composer---if you don't recognize his name, you may well know the scores for House of Flying Daggers, Yumeji, and Fearless. He's a master of Asian cinema soundtracks, and the game sounds great.

You play as Jin Sakai, trained in the way of the samurai and taught to fight with honor by his uncle Shimura, Lord of Tsushima. Jin's beliefs are sorely tested when he fights on the island's beaches, trying to repel the invading Mongol Empire fleet. After the initial attack Tsushima's forces are devastated, making him one of the last remaining samurai on the island (we know Shimura, at least, lives beyond the initial invasion). Narrowly escaping death, he realizes that to fight back against overwhelming odds might require him to use more than his samurai's honorable skills. He must master the Way of the Ghost, ninja-like skills that will enable him to take on a skilled enemy that heavily outnumbers him.

GoT orientiert sich ja an tatsächlichen historischen Gegebenheiten. Bin gespannt wie sie das umsetzen. Mal sehen ob es nun noch verschoben wird oder nicht....

Sucker Punch wants you to drink in the PlayStation 4 exclusive’s scenery, so it’s doing away with irritating waypoints, hoping that you’ll explore its open world naturally. The tidbit comes courtesy of an Official PlayStation Magazine preview, in which it claims that the Seattle-based developer wants you to use “landmarks and your knowledge of the world” to navigate it.

Schön, dass sich langsam die positiven Einflüsse der Spielwelt von BotW auch in anderen Spielen bemerkbar machen.

Scheint so als ob GoT auch verschonben wird, in Canada Store hat es schon mal einen 01.08 als Platzhalter bekommen, was ein Samstag ist und da Spiele nicht erscheinen.

Ist natürlich sehr schade, weil ich mich extrem auf das Spiel freue...Denke, dass Sony tatsächlich alles etwas nach hinten verschiebt. The Last of Us 2 könnte dann tatsächlich im Juni kommen und GoT dann entsprechend im Juli / August. Da könnte ich dann tatsächlich auch sehr gut mit Leben

Meinetwegen, wenn dafür dann der Weg für The Last of Us II freigemacht wird. Diesen Sommer wird man sich echt nicht über erstklassigen Spielegenuss beschweren können.

Solange nichts offiziell ist glaube ich erstmal gar nix.

Ich glaube schon, dass GoT verschoben wird...alleine wegen TLoU. Besteht aber natürlich auch die Möglichkeit, dass tatsächlich GoT vor TLoU kommt, aber mal sehen.
