This virtual research summit brings together researchers and innovators from academia, creators from the gaming industry, Microsoft Research (MSR), and Gaming teams at Microsoft, to share ideas and discuss how AI and machine learning is transforming the landscape of gaming. The event is focused around four themes.

• AI Agents for gameplay and game testing
• Responsible Gaming, including ethics, safety, and inclusivity
• Computational creativity and content generation
• Understanding Players, player engagement and analytics

Habe mich damals auf der 360 ja tierisch geärgert, als Burnout Revenge damals nicht rückwärtskompatibel gemacht wurde. Dachte ja immer, EA wollte das nicht, damit sie an der damaligen Next Gen Version (nochmals) verdienen können. Jetzt habe ich mir letztens aber im Store für n 10er die 360 Version geholt. Und mir ist aufgefallen, dass es teilweise doch unterschiedliche Spiele waren vom Content her.

Wie dem auch sei, macht aber auch nach 15 Jahren noch gut Bock. Auf ein neues Burnout klassischer Machart - Paradise gefiel mir nie - hätte ich schon mal wieder Lust.

A short while ago, noted Microsoft expert Paul Thurrott tweeted that Microsoft is planning a series of events in the near future revolving around Xbox and Windows, with the gaming show slated for March 23. More recently, through our own sources, it seems that this event looks to have shifted slightly to Friday, March 26. We've heard that the show may offer a glimpse at some upcoming Xbox games for 2021, and possibly beyond.

Details on exactly what this event will contain are scant for the time being, so it may be wise to temper expectations. It may be a tech and platform-oriented event with some smaller game announcements, or something more.
