"For what it's worth, I think Nintendo is still good at keeping secrets. To the best of my knowledge, Nintendo's unannounced first party game (the infamous Mystery game #4) still hasn't been leaked, rumored, guessed, or accurately predicted anywhere on the internet. It's a retail game with a strong chance of releasing before the end of this year. Which means, there's a 100% chance of it appearing in the Direct.
So yeah, Nintendo is still good at keeping secrets/surprises....sometimes, lol."
"My bigger point was that Nintendo still has some first party game announcements (some retail, some eshop) that haven't been leaked. They haven't popped up on any 4Chan Direct lists, and I haven't seen any insiders talk about them. I mentioned this because people in this thread seemed very worried that all of Nintendo's big surprises had leaked.
Most fake leaks tend to ride the coattails of pre-existing rumors/leaks. It's why you rarely see mentions of smaller eShop games (like Tetris 99) pop up in these Direct rumors. "
