Sixaxis Shock Details Unveiled?

In this month section of PSM in France, there have been details that have been released in reference to the new ps3 controller. None of this has been confirmed by Sony but these details came from PSM.


Technical details :
- the gyroscopic functions can cohabit with the vibrations. The explanation? The speed to which a player can move the lever is quite lower at the speed of the vibrations.
- the engine of vibration could be inclu in the lever without having to modify the form of it. There is enough place for the new engine, and this one, concus by Immersion, are lighter for an obstruction equivalent.
- One indeed has to expect a reduction in the autonomy of Sixaxis. Nevertheless, the new engine of vibration does not consume more than the old models (Dualshock) in spite of the fact that it is more powerful.
- the new engine is less expensive to build, and a possible rise in price of the pad should be only very light.
- With an update of the firmware, we will be able to have the vibrations for plays PS2

Details on the “Touchsense” :

New technology, named “Touchsense” is a mini-revolution. Indeed, from now on, the vibrations will not emanate solely any more from the handles of the pad (as on Dualshock) but will be perceptible in various places of the lever. It as should be specified as they will be more powerful, more intense and over short periods if the programmers wish it. Thus, the developers will be able to create a multitude of still new effects. If Sony chooses this technology, it will thus not act of a simple return of the vibrations, but well of a very new technology

Some examples :

- This technology will be able to reproduce the fast jolt and forces caused by a shot,
- Immersion promises that one will be able to feel the asperities of the road in the plays of race (like Dirt), but also small shocks related on the shiftings of speed and even to accelerations or decelerations.

Wenn sie denn auch jede Konsole für 600€ verscherbeln würden, aber der Preis pendelt sich ja grad so bei 550€ bis 500€ ein....außerdem glaub ich nicht, dass Sony's Einnahmen pro PS3 diese Summe betragen, schließlich verdient der Handel auch noch dran. Damit ginge die Rechnung nicht ganz auf, aber es wäre schön, wenn's wenigstens nen bissle wär.^^ ;-)

im laden kosten alle PS3s 600€, wo kostet sie denn 500-550€ ???
jetzt sag nicht ebay das wäre lächerlich :scan:

lol dann hab ich mich wohl der Lächerlichkeit preisgegeben. :-P

Ne, ich mein ebay hat sich schon längst als "Shop" etabliert und ist auch jedem bekannt, wieso sollte man nicht Ebay nennen dürfen? Natürlich gibt es da auch viele schwarze Schafe, aber auch vertrauenswürdige Händler, die auch Garantie auf die Ware geben.
Selbst bei "normalen" Shops wie Squoops gibt's die PS3 für 580€.^^

Aber hast schon recht, ich hab mit meinen 550 bis 500 € schon übertrieben. ;-)
 
Hab's zwar schon im Darkness Thread gepostet da es aber für alle Interessant sein dürfte tu ich's hier nochmal! Und zwar aktiviert bei eurer PS3 (wenn über HDMI angeschlossen) unbedingt den vollen RGB Bereich das ist nämlich Standardmäßig nicht der Fall bringt aber eine Menge!!

Umstellen könnt ihr das bei den Anzeigen-Einstellungen und RGB Voller Bereich (HDMI)

die ebay händler müssen die PS3s aber auch vorher irgendwo (von sony ?) gekauft haben und somit macht es für sony keinen unterschied ob die PS3 an den endkunden billiger verkauft wird, da der handel immer den gleichen preis bezahlt. (ich hoffe du verstehst was ich meine)

Hessen will die Games Convention

Die hessische Landesregierung will Europas größte Computer- und Videospielmesse, die Games Convention, von Leipzig nach Frankfurt holen. Die Staatskanzlei in Wiesbaden bestätigte am Mittwoch entsprechende Ankündigungen von Staatsminister Volker Hoff (CDU) bei der Fachkonferenz GAMEplaces International in Frankfurt. Frankfurt habe als internationaler Standort gute Chancen.

Die vom Bundesverband Interaktive Unterhaltungsindustrie (BIU) veranstaltete Games Convention hatte im vergangenen Jahr 368 Aussteller und 183.000 Besucher angezogen. Der Vertrag der BIU mit dem Messestandort Leipzig läuft 2008 aus. Nach Informationen des Journal Frankfurt bemüht sich die Messe Frankfurt seit einem Jahr, die Games Convention zu gewinnen.

Frankfurt sei der ideale Standort für die große Videospielmesse, sagte Hoff. Die Stadt sei über den Flughafen hervorragend international angebunden. Viele Spieleentwickler und -verlage seien bereits hier angesiedelt. Die diesjährige Games Convention wird inklusive eines Fachbesuchertages vom 22. bis 26. August in Leipzig ausgerichtet.

fände ich persönlich als hesse klasse, wohne nämlich nur 20min von frankfurt weg :-D
 
am besten wärs sie kommt nach österreich... in meinen heimatort... gibts zwar meilenweit keinen flughafen und die öffentliche anbindung ist auch unter aller sau aber hauptsache ich muss nicht weit fahren :lol:
 
games convention in frankfurt wäre hammer, bin davon nur 1 1/2h mit dem auto weg. für dj wäre es noch näher
 
Ja lol das wäre echt geil Wenn die GC nach Frankfurt kommen würde. ^^ Mein Freund wohnt da.
 
vor allem ist es gar nicht so unwahrscheinlich, dass die GC nach frankfurt kommt eben wegen der sehr guten internationalen anbindung. ich wäre dann wohl jedes jahr dort :-D
