was kosten bei den amis eigentlich serien und filme?
und kann man da irgendwie rankommen?
Serien kosten dort 160 / 240 Punkte pro Folge in SD / HD, Filme fangen bei 240 Punkten an (ältere Titel in SD) und gehen bis 480 Punkte (aktuelle Filme in HD). Also deutlich günstiger als hier.
Und nein, die Amerikanische Videomarktplatz ist komplett durch die IP-Sperre gesichert. Da kommt man leider nicht ran. Einzig die Vorschauoption funktioniert überall, die wird ja wie hier auch direkt gestreamt.

Also jetzt scheints ja langsam schon ein wenig besser zu werden in Sachen Filme. Innerhalb von ein paar Tagen schon 5 neue Filme dazugekommen 
Is doch zumindest mal nen Anfang! Nur die Preise sollten doch noch etwas purzeln!

MS adds Paramount films to European Live Video Store
Microsoft has apparently struck a deal with Paramount to offer its news and old films via the Live video store in Europe. The movies should appear in 3 weeks and be in line with the current pricing of 250 points for a standard def movie and 380 points for high def.

18.02.08 - Microsoft gibt bekannt, dass Filme von Paramount ab dem 19.02.08 auf dem Xbox Live Video Marktplatz in Europa erhältlich sein werden.
Xbox 360-Besitzer in Deutschland, Frankreich, Irland und Großbritannien können fortan Paramount-Filme in High-Definition- oder Standardqualität ab 250 Microsoft-Punkte direkt auf ihre Konsole herunterladen, u.a. 'Black Snake Moan' (Samuel L. Jackson, Christina Ricci, Justin Timberlake).
Ab Frühjahr 2008 sollen folgende Filme auf dem Xbox Live Video Marktplatz zu haben sein.
- Black Snake Moan (verfügbar in SD und HD)
- Eine verhängnisvolle Affäre (verfügbar in SD)
- Ghost (verfügbar in SD)
- Die Stunde der Patrioten (verfügbar in SD)
- Jagd auf Roter Oktober (verfügbar in SD)
Von Warner Bros sind ab dem Frühjahr geplant:
- Die Ermordung des Jesse James durch den Feigling Robert Ford (verfügbar in SD und HD)

schön. freut mich besonders für Black Snake Moan. der Film hat mir wahnsinnig gut gefallen, ich glaube der XBOX Live Release ist in etwa der selbe wie der DVD-Release - schöne Sache 
Also ich finde die auswahl an filmen mehr als bescheiden, gelinde ma ausgedrückt. Is das denn so schwer da die filme hoch zuladen ? Und was für filme , die hälfte ausser steinzeit die echt nicht ihr geld wert sind , naja is ja noch alles inner aufbau phase , mit der zeit wird das schon . Aber am preis könnten se ja ma was machen

Kann mir mal jemand schnell ne Empfehlung für Eyes Wide Shut aussprechen? Gibts ja auch in HD, wobei ich HD Sachen vom M$ Marktplatz für Mist halte. Aber in HD hat er wenigstens Breitbild Support, und in SD nicht...
Also, ich will keine Empfehlung für den Film, sondern für die Quali... Lohnt's sich?
Ich habe mir bisher Matrix 1 in HD angesehen, und war bitter enttäuscht! Da war von HD nicht viel zu sehen...evtl minimal besser als die DVD Version. Next und Disturbia hab ich mir dann in SD gezogen, und hatte auf gute DVD Quali gehofft....aber weit gefehlt. Kam mir vor wie n billiges avi Format. Voll mit Artefakten...
Ich find diese ganze Videogeschichte ne dolle Sache, aber an der Quali müssen sie noch ordentlich arbeiten.... Und am Preis. Ich mein... I am Legend in HD für 600M$ Points???!!! Ich glaub es hackt.

The “XboxLIVE! Film Club” will be delivering a number of sneak preview screenings to a select group of Xbox fans in an exclusive setting, giving them the chance to see brand new movie titles before anyone else.
Commenting on the new programme and the films lined up, James Houlton XboxLIVE! Marketing Manager, Microsoft UK said: “We’ve got some truly compelling blockbuster titles and HD content on our XboxLIVE! Video Store service, with recent smashes Cloverfield, Stardust, Beowulf, The Kite Runner and I Am Legend all resonating extremely well with our audience. Now with the launch of the “Xbox Film Club”, Xbox fans will be able to get the jump on their friends and see some of the biggest films of the year before anybody else.”
