Tango Gamework's
Hi-Fi Rush fared better than
Pentiment, although not remarkably better. In its PS5 launch week (data from week ending Sunday, March 24, 2024),
Hi-Fi Rushmade it to the #124 spot on our top 200
PlayStation Chart.
That comparatively low performance is a surprise to me given not only how solid
Hi-Fi Rush is as a game, but also the fact that I saw
Hi-Fi Rush slapped all over the PS Store on PS5 during its launch week. It's possible that the average PS5 player simply isn't all that aware of these recent Xbox exclusives, which doesn't spell good news for Microsoft's attempt to cash in on its hot IP via its rival's built-in audience.
