RUMOR - Romance of the Three Kingdoms heading to Wii?

rologo.JPG

That’s what Japanese website Ruliweb is saying anyway. I believe Koei would be absolutely insane not to bring this series to the Wii…you couldn’t ask for a better control scheme. Right now, the listing has the title priced at 10, 290 yen…which comes out to roughly $87 US dollars. A mysterious “powerup kit” is included as well, which man explain the higher price. Hopefully this rumor will be confirmed true very soon.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer DRIFT 2 heading to Wii

I noticed this while checking out the story below. I did a search on our site for a mention of this game headed to Wii, and I found nothing…not one story. As far as I know, this is a brand new finding. I don’t know why I thought we mentioned this before, but if we did just leave a comment, and I will delete this post.

The ESRB website also has Tokyo Xtreme Racer DRIFT 2 listed as coming to the PS2 and Wii. No date or extra info on the Wii version just yet, so it looks like we will have to sit tight to find out more on this title.

Forever Blue information

Forever Blue, the mysterious Wii game that fades in and out of the spotlight. Just a few days ago I was wondering when we were going to hear news on this game next, and now we have some courtest of IGN.

Developed by Arika (Everblue, Everblue 2)

May be a sequel, or port of Everblue/Everblue 2

No official confirmation from Nintendo as to what Forever Blue is

Unfortunately, that’s all that turned up. Well, I guess it will be a few more months until we hear some news on this title again.

Eidos compliments DS, Wii

“Where innovation can come from is in new technology. Nintendo has demonstrated that you can carve out a new market through innovation. The DS and the Wii will demonstrate that gameplay, gameplay and gameplay are the three most important aspects of a game, and that technology and graphics support that experience. Plus, there’s innovation as the market permeates through society on different platforms and therefore attracts a new audience - PC downloads, online games, mobile and other wireless devices that broaden the market, such as the PSP and DS.”

Neue Infos zu den neuen Ubisoft-Spielen

Ubisoft's New Wii Games

Two new titles on the way and Brothers in Arms quasi-confirmed.

January 3, 2007 - Ubisoft's Spanish subsidiary has put out a release that announces, among others, a handful of new Wii projects.

The first is Brothers in Arms: D Day, the most solid confirmation yet that Ubi is readying a version of the hit first-person shooter franchise for Nintendo's new console. Last year, an allegedly leaked document listed Brothers in Arms as a game underway from Wii. Ubisoft denied the document's validity, but every other title featured on the list was eventually announced or released. The game's name suggests that this is might be a Wii version of the recently released PSP series entry, a "Best of BIA" game with new and remixed content from all of Brothers in Arms (assumedly with improved visuals to match the Wii.) In an interview with IGN, the developer of the series, Gearbox Software, also said that it was working on a Wii project. Insiders claim that Gearbox was at one point experimenting with Unreal Engine 3 and attempting to create a dumbed-down version that would run on Wii. Unfortunately, we have been unable to confirm the accuracy of that rumors.

The second title is called Spelling Spree and, as the name suggests, it is very likely a project focused on spelling and vocabulary challenges. Gamers might be quick to discount such a product, but if Ubisoft can put a Brain Age style spin on the presentation, Spelling Spree could be a surprise hit.

The third game, Cosmic Family, is a port of the PC franchise of the same name. Very little is known about the project, except that it is geared toward younger players. A brief description, courtesy Amazon's UK website: "Meet the Cosmic Family - Mr and Mrs Cosmic, their two small children, big sister, the scatty cat, the playful dog, and monsters of every shape, size and color. Early learning, humor and music for 4-7 year olds and their parents."

Welche Konsole wollen Sie kaufen?
37% - Wii
24% - PS3
5% - Xbox 360
Rest: Keine Angabe/anderes System

NOE gibt erstes 2007 Lineup bekannt

NOE Releases 2007 Preview Schedule January 4, 2007

Welcome to what promises to be a momentous year in Nintendo gaming.

If you thought 2006 was a stunner with the arrival of the Nintendo DS Lite, Wii, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and many more greats, 2007 looks set to top all that - even in the first few months.

Whether you're a long-time Nintendo gamer or received your first system for Christmas, there's something for everyone in the year ahead.

And you don't have to wait long to get your hands on new games for your Wii or Nintendo DS, because the new releases are only days away…

January

WarioWare: Smooth Moves (Wii, January 12) - What's wacky and will have you twisting, turning, waving and even hula-hooping with your Wii Remote? Wario's back with more than 200 crazy microgames made specifically for Wii, for up to 12 players to enjoy.

Children of Mana (Nintendo DS, January 12) - Role-playing game masters Square-Enix return to their roots in the latest instalment of the classic Mana series of action-RPGs. Go it alone or join with up to three friends wirelessly.

Star Fox Command (Nintendo DS, January 26) - The Star Fox series blasts onto Nintendo DS! Part action shooter, part turn-based strategy game, Star Fox Command puts an armada of ships under your touch screen control.

Actionloop (Nintendo DS, January 26) - Puzzle games don't come any faster and more furious than this! Use the stylus to flick the magnetic marbles into like-coloured groups, testing your brainpower and reactions in equal measure.

February

Magical Starsign (Nintendo DS, February 9) - An out-of-this world, astrological adventure! Journey across the galaxy to find missing members of a magic academy and their teacher, using spells that grow more powerful when stars are in alignment.

Excite Truck (Wii, February 16) - Grip the Wii Remote like a steering wheel and boost, swerve and jump your way across wild terrain that morphs beneath your wheels. As the name implies, Excite Truck is a wild ride.

Mario Slam Basketball (Nintendo DS, February 16) - With gorgeous graphics and intense, comical action, Mario's hoop-shooting debut is set to be a scorcher.

Kororinpa (Wii, February 23) - In this action/puzzle game, you'll need a steady hand and a cool head to roll the ball through the 3D maze to the goal by tilting the Wii Remote.

Wing Island (Wii, February 23) - Take to the skies and engage in a range of diverse missions, from fire-fighting to wildlife photography, controlling your plane's flight with simple movements of the Wii Remote.

March

Mario vs Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis (Nintendo DS, March 9) - Guide a team of Mini Mario toys through obstacle filled levels or even make your own levels and upload them to the world with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Pokémon Ranger (Nintendo DS, March 30) - Round up Pokémon with swift swipes of your stylus in this all-new action-RPG in which you take the role of a Ranger, preserving nature and protecting Pokémon.

Quarter 1

The following games are currently planned for release by the end of March 2007:

Trauma Center: Second Opinion (Wii) - The hit Nintendo DS surgical simulator makes its Wii debut, with hands-on controls using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk.

Sonic and the Secret Rings (Wii) - Made exclusively for Wii, Sonic's new outing is a super-fast action game that unleashes the power of the Wii Remote.

Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (Nintendo DS) - Play as two characters at once, skilled in combat and magic, in this brand new action-adventure for DS.

Also coming in 2007…

There's lots more to look forward to this year including the Wii debuts of Mario and Metroid in Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, plus the eagerly awaited Super Smash Bros. Brawl featuring new fighters like Wario and Solid Snake. Also watch out for the arrival of Big Brain Academy for Wii, Battalion Wars II and Mario Strikers Charged bringing strategy and soccer action to Wii, and seafaring adventure The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass coming to Nintendo DS.

It's going to be a year to remember, so make sure you check our site regularly for the latest info on games for Nintendo systems. You won't want to miss a thing!

Hab gerade mal nachgeschaut... stimmt schon, was du sagst.

GamePro

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Definitely stole the the show. The graphics looked amazing — better than Halo 2 on the Xbox without a doubt — and the levels showed off sparkling details, proving the Wii is far more powerful than the Gamecube. Out of all the games we played, the Wii controller seemed most at home with Metroid...

...Aiming with the point-and-shoot controller felt very nice, though it took a few minutes to become truly comfortable. The experience was much like playing a PC first-person shooter...

...The frame rate was also smooth and consistent, even when the screen got crowded with special effects.
Metroid was probably the best Wii game on display. Wii can't wait to play more!

newsobserver

“Corruption” takes full advantage of the first-person perspective to make you part of the action. There’s also a new hyper mode in which Samus can fill up her phazon supply to a certain point to push her into a heightened period of speed and power. Push the phazon limit too far and it will overload her armor and you’ll be seeing a game over screen. Finally, word is that at long last Samus’ ship will be used during gameplay, an intriguing twist that should cause the saliva glands of “Metroid” fans to work overtime.

Nintendo is keeping other details, such as any information about the long-sought online multiplayer, under wraps. Originally planned as a Wii launch title, “Metroid Prime 33 currently has no hard release date, but Nintendo president Reggie Fils-Aime has said the game will be released sometime after March.

TIME Magazine: Wii Sports Spiel des Jahres

"There is no possible way to say this enough times: great graphics don't make great games. Perfect Dark Zero looked like a Titian, but it was a snooze. Wii Sports - a mini-sports anthology that includes golf, boxing, tennis, baseball and bowling - looks like Colecovision. The little guys on the screen don't even have arms. But it's hilarious, and it shows off the power of the motion-sensitive Wii controller to put you right in the game, sweating and yelling and trying crazy spins and lunges and angles. The tennis game alone is worth the price of admission. Which is nothing, since it comes free with the Wii."

A fresh batch of Nintendo rumors

2ch has some of the best rumors around. It’s been awhile since we have seen a collection from them, but one popped up today over at NeoGAF. Get ready people, these are some whoppers!

- From Software is developing a Kingsfield-esque first person action RPG on Wii

- Fire Emblem Wii has two parts… The first part is the original Fire Emblem Path of Radiance

- Nights Wii

- Square Enix and Disney agreed to put the next Kingdom Hearts on Nintendo consoles

- Swords of Legendia will be the first game of the Swords of series, a spinoff series of the Tales of series

The NiGHTS rumor is old news, but everything else is ripe for discussion. I cannot tell you how much sense I believe Kingdom Hearts on the Wii would make. Price of the PS3 alone leaves a lot of the Kingdom Hearts target market dead in the water. What do you guys think of these rumors?
