Uncharted 2 sees a large increase this week as many of the big November games start to dominate the preorder chart

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves saw preorders increase by nearly 50% this week. After a slow start, it seems that momentum is starting to build for one of the most critically acclaimed and technically-impressive titles of the year and I expect week one sales to be in the 450,000 to 500,000 range - one of the biggest PS3 releases of all-time in the Americas. Of course, Uncharted 2 (and every other game for that matter) is totally eclipsed by Modern Warfare 2 - with over two million preorders (including the PC version) and 7 weeks to go before release we are almost sure to see the biggest game launch of all time in the Americas.

Other titles seeing strong increases this week include New Super Mario Bros Wii (which should now really start to increase fast with a solid release date), Wii Fit Plus and Brutal Legend - now only a few weeks away from release.

The big release next week will be Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days, which has a good shot at a 200,000 opening - impressive for a DS game. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 should also do well.

mw 2 is so heftig
2 mio allein in america am ersten tag und da sind bestimmt noch einige leute die das spiel noch nicht vorbestellt haben bzw es am ersten tag kaufen ohne vorbestellung

nur ma so würd ein pc game in der preoder list auch erscheinen oder bezieht sich das nur auf konsolen ?
mich würd nämlich die mw 2 preorder zahlen für pc interessieren

Naja ich glaub das Rapishare und Co bei dem PC Release mehr verdienen als die entwickler,imh ist pc gaming am absterben,nicht zuletzt wegen den HD Konsolen,kaum ein spiel nutzt die pc´s wirklich aus ,fast alles sind nur noch konsolenumsetzungen.

Bei Wii-Sports seh ich das genauso, war ja außer in Japan überall dabei, aber Play und gerade Fit kann und muss man dazu nehmen, wüsst da kein Argument, das dagegen spricht. Mario Kart Wii ist auch abartig :oops: Hätt ich vor dem Erscheinen nie mit gerechnet :) :D

Jop, hab die Liste aber nur schnell ausm GAF kopiert, da ich das einmal dort gepostet habe und wusste, dass auch die COD IV - Zahlen enthalten sind. ;)

Wii Fit kann man zählen. ;)

Die Games gibts nur mit Hardware gebundelt (zwingend nötiger Hardware) und man kauft nicht die Spiele sondern die Hardware dahinter, kann man schlecht mit einfachen Retail-Games vergleichen. :)
 
krass GTAIV ist mit 13 Mio einheiten nicht einmal so erfolgreich wie eines der letzten 3 GTAs auf PS2 ... oder knapp hinter GTA3 ... an die San Andreas Zahlen wird es wahrscheinlich auch nicht mehr rankommen.
Call of Duty ist einfach überkrass, kann mir gut vorstellen dass MW2 der meistverkaufteste Teil der Serie wird, die Amis scheinen das spiel echt zu lieben.
 
Ok da hab ich nicht dran gedacht, bei Play und Sports akzeptier ich das ja noch aber bei Fit ehrlich gesagt nicht.
