September is shaping up to be a big month for PS3 games. That’s when we’ll see Heavenly Sword, the ultra-responsive arena-based swordfighting game, innovative dragon-fighting game Lair and the air, foot and vehicle combat game WarHawk, which is still looking likely to be released over the PlayStation Network rather than in the shops. First-person shooter Killzone, too, should surface in September, as well as the first PS3 version of Ratchet & Clank.

Ich bin echt gespannt, was Sony aus EyeToy NextGen gemacht hat. Der eine inoff. Trailer sah schon mal sehr nett aus. Hoffe die Entwickler wenden ET3 nun besser an, so dass man auch mal etwas "richtiges" zum zocken hat.

At first glance, Devil May Cry and SOCOM seems to have no relation with each other. The first one is an action video game that was developed by Capcom, while the latter, on the other hand, is a third-person shooter from Zipper Interactive. From the genre to the developer - the two are not connected in anyway imaginable. Wrong.

Apparently, one reader from the gaming site PSP Extreme managed to get some details about the two video games, and according to the reader, Devil May Cry and a new version of SOCOM will be gracing our PlayStation Portable (PSP) units soon, plus SOCOM will also be appearing on the PlayStation 3 (PS3).

The reader claims that he is working for the retail chain Game Crazy and saw that Devil May Cry popped up in his company's PSP list. Furthermore, two new SOCOM titles have been listed as well: SOCOM Competition for the PS3 and SOCOM Tactics for PSP. As much as these sound great, Zipper and Capcom, or Sony for that matter, are yet to comment on these rumors.

We tried heading over to Game Crazy's online store, but found nothing that could confirm these titles. Meanwhile, We'll be on the look out for more updates about these games in the coming days.

I've been hearing rumors about LucasArts new shooter lately, the one that isn't Star Wars Battlefront 3. Instead of revisiting a long, long time ago, the company is looking to the future with their American civil war game.

Yes, the future. The game won't feature a North and South divided, brother versus brother, musket battles, or soldiers decked out in wool uniforms. Instead, the title will recount an all too familiar East Coast versus West Coast battle, thankfully sans hip-hop soundtrack.

Further unlike our nation's previous civil war, points of contention will focus less on slavery and taxation, but more on the evolution of the human race. In a nation separated by a midwestern wasteland, one side will focus more on nano-machinery and cybernetic development, the other on genetic manipulation and man-made evolution that will help create a race of super soldiers. This means characters will be stronger, faster, and heavily armored, whether by futuristic combat gear or thick biological shells.

But the game's real draw is its weapon system.

The first- and third-person shooter features some nifty land deformation schtick courtesy of an advancement in weapons technology. Players will be armed with grenades that can transform the landscape to their advantage, whether it be to establish cover or to reach new heights on a particular level, you'll literally reshape the battlefield. Each splintered faction will also have access to firearms that deploy mines that travel beneath the surface at rocket speeds to take out enemies and carve out craters. Expect plenty of flying rocks.

From what I've heard, LucasArts is readying a massive undertaking to ensure that their newest original shooter becomes a franchise hit. The game is slated to come to the latest generation of consoles, but a PC version may also be in the works.

The Darkness hat aber einen offiziellen Termin. Der 25. Juni soweit ich mich entsinnen kann. Alles weitere ist klar nur Spekulation. Besonders das Killzone schon so früh erscheinen soll.

Die japanische Version läuft doch ohne Probleme, nur dass ich nicht mit Europäern online fahren kann, oder?

F1 rock0rt wenn man mal von den veralteten Lizenzen absieht.Ansonsten ist das Game oberfett

Was soll das eigentlich mit Rauswurf zu drohen wenn man bespricht was Webseiten melden? Hier sind die gewünschten Fakten:

a) Es wurde dementiert und wird mittlerweile als EXKLUSIV bezeichnet , höchstoffiziell (wo ist das kein Fakt?)
b) http://threespeech.com/blog/?p=378 widerruft jetzt den Artikel ebenfalls (ist auch Fakt.)

Nochmal: Warum sollen die Leute gekickt werden wenn sie Gerüchte kommentieren wollen oder offizielle Stellungnahmen dazu posten? Oder hast du es mit anderen Arten von Posts hier? Ich habe das hier nicht weiter verfolgt. Oder hast du dich nur unvage ausgedrückt und möchtest das Wort BioShock hier nichtmehr lesen bis es eine offizielle Ankündigung gibt? Dann lösch meinen Post, das kann ich eher verstehen.
