Splatoon Fanbook Includes Art by Attack on Titan's Hajime Isayama

Nintendo's Splatoon Wii U shooter game is getting a mook titled Splatoon Pia on March 23 with fan art by well-known creators, including Attack on Titan's Hajime Isayama. Mikasa is shown in the upper left side giving a thumbs up of approval.

The book also has interviews and comments with celebrities like voice actors Takuya Eguchi (Takeo Gōda in My Love Story!!), Jun Fukuyama (Assassination Classroom, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion) and Ruriko Aoki (Riina Tada in The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls), manga writer Yūto Tsukuda (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma), Isobe Isobee Monogatari ~Ukiyo wa Tsurai yo~ creator Ryō Nakama, My Hero Academia's Kōhei Horikoshi, and comedians Yoshiyuki Hirai and Akira Kawashima.

Elastische Squid-Spielzeuge geplant

Schon bald ist es ein ganzes Jahr her, da erschien der heutige Millionenseller Splatoon für die Wii-U-Konsole. Mit dem heutigen Erfolg hatte zu Beginn niemand gerechnet, doch selbst mit den ganz Großen kann Splatoon es mittlerweile aufnehmen, nicht umsonst ist es aktuell das am meisten verkaufte Wii-U-Spiel in Japan.

Zahlreiche Spielzeuge, Klamotten und Co. waren die Folge des Hits und jeder Merchandise-Artikel ist ulkiger als der vorherige. Ab dem 5. April wird Taito extrem elastische Squids auf dem japanischen Spielzeug-Markt veröffentlichen, welche man quetschen, kneten, dehnen und werfen kann.

Es scheint, sie würden sich auch als Stressball nach einer verlorenen Runde Splatoon eignen…

Japan Is Getting A Lint Roller Based On A Splatoon Weapon

In an earlier post, we reported that Japan would be receiving a real-life Splatoon squirt gun this summer. Funnily enough, another piece of merchandise based on Splatoon is also on its way.

As reported by Famitsu, it appears that a lint roller based on the game’s Splat Roller weapon is headed to Japan this month as well.

Get A Look At Splatoon’s Four More Weapons From Sheldon’s Picks Vol. 1

Sheldon’s Picks Vol. 1 will bring eight more weapons to Splatoon tomorrow. In an earlier post, we got a look at four of the eight weapons, and now Nintendo has shared more information on the remaining four.

Soda Slosher

The Soda Slosher is based on a regular ol’ Slosher, but with some adjustments to the setup. Splat Bombs support the basic strategy, and the addition of the Inkzooka provides ranged power lacking in other models. And the bucket colors are pretty sweet too. Just sayin’.

Bamboozler 14 Mk III

According to Sheldon, this set REDEFINES what it means to be a Bamboozler! Do you think you’re ready? The Bamboozler 14 Mk III takes the Mk I and swaps out the barrel for a different bamboo pipe. This set’s selling point is how the main weapon and the Burst Bombs can really hammer your opponent! That’s not to mention the Inkstrike, which can make life difficult for even far-off enemies.

Immer her mit neuen Eimern :-D

Obwohl ich inzwischen wieder mehr zu Rollern tendiere, weil die Leute im S-Rang plötzlich wissen, wie man gegen Eimer spielen muss. Die bewegen sich sogar wenn man auf sie zielt! So was gemeines.
