I hope you're all excited, you should be. It's not too far away now. I think I'll go ahead and say that the controller is NOT the only thing Revolutionary about this system, and I don't mean our usual half-assed "The Virtual Console is Revolutionary" or whatever else our PR would say, really. Something that a lot of you have an idea of, but actually can't grasp how it works. Recently, my idol Miyamoto said that Twilight Princess would be the last Zelda as we know it. Boy, he couldn't be more right. This new feature, this is going to become the STANDARD. You heard me, people we'll never play video games the same again. I know I said it will be televised, but you know what? I lied. Everyone does. Oh, sure, you can use your tv, but why use that? Have you ever wanted to play a game ANYWHERE in your house? Well, as long as it's in range of the Consoles signal, which, as tested, is very nice, like Wavebird nice, through walls even! Let's say you have a really nice chair in your family room, but your console is in your bedroom, no problem, head downstairs, upstairs, same floor, whatever, go sit yourself in that NICE chair and play your Revolution, no tv? No problem. No outlets? Again, no problem, it's that nice. While your friend across the street will be a slave to his television, you will be free to roam within the range of your Revolution. Oh, remember when I said Zelda? How'd you like to see what Link sees? This isn't virtual reality people, that's still a ways off, you'll still move Link with your joystick and he'll still swing his sword with that good old B button, but you'll play Zelda from a whole new perspective. Now get ready, the first Zelda Era was Overhead, the first two games, A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Minish Cap, you know the drill. Era number 2? You guessed it, 3rd person, Ocarina, Majora, Wind Waker, and the absolutely stunning Twilight Princess. What's behind door number 3? 1st person Zelda. FPZ, I like the sound of that. No, don't worry, it won't be some lame shooter, it's the Zelda you know and love, and it plays very similar to Ocarina, but you don't need to Lock on any more when you can just turn your head and there's that Moblin you want to shoot. Sure, you still have to hit the Y button to shoot him, but it looks so much cooler. I guess I kind of said that the feature can sense when you turn your head, it works like Wario Ware Twisted, but a little more complex. See, it knows the position of the controller, the controller gives off a single stating that that is the front, that is where the visor aims via default, so, turn your head to the left, your view shifts to the left, and so on, pretty smart. Up and down work much easier. As long as it's level, it stays forward, you can also disable the head turn, and make it so you have to press a button to use it. So you're not fighting an enemy, cough, and you end up looking at your feet as you get hit with a sword. That's probably all I'll say, like, forever. Just keep your eyes peeled for the 16th in Japan, then the 19th here in the US. Trust me.
