Es ist echt ein Armutszeugnis was auf so einer guten Plattform abgeliefert wird. Das regt mich aber auch bei Ubisoft auf.

Und zum Glück war da noch Nintendo... ;-)

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time @ IGN.com

Closing Comments
Partners in Time does a fantastic job following up the already fantastic Superstar Saga on the Game Boy Advance. Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time has an even crazier story, funnier dialogue, more elaborate puzzles, and more action-based fights than the original game. But even with all the clever additions the Nintendo DS version brings to the table, the original quest is never left in the dust and is still on the same playing field for those who haven't experienced that handheld adventure yet. And though it doesn't explore the Nintendo DS platform on a technical level, Partners in Time definitely approaches the handheld in extremely creative ways.

9.0 Presentation
The DS design sticks exclusively with the system's two screen functionality and leaves everything else about the handheld alone.
8.0 Graphics
The visual style of the GBA game stays the same on the DS, with very little in the way of whiz-bang effects. The character animation is done well, and always brings a chuckle.
8.5 Sound
Mario and Luigi intentionally speak gibberish, but it works well with the story. The game's soundtrack fits the Marioesque theme with original pieces and remixed classics.
9.0 Gameplay
Fun, amusing, and lengthy adventure that starts out easy but curves up nicely in difficulty and challenge without going too hard.
9.0 Lasting Appeal
You'll be spending twenty hours plus in this meaty single player adventure. Time well spent.
9.0 - Outstanding
JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D !
... Ich freu mich :)

Elf Bowling 1 & 2
http://ds.ign.com/articles/675/675678p1.html
Closing Comments
Look, these Nintendo DS games even lack the ability to actually quit the action back to the main menu, which shows just how much effort went into these ports. Hint: it wasn't much. It's a single-chuckle joke that's extended into a 20 dollar purchase. And once that laugh is expelled, you're left two of the crappiest games ever developed on the Nintendo DS platform. Merry Christmas.

1.0 Presentation
When you can't even quit the game without powering down the system, something's wrong.
1.0 Graphics
Chunky sprites and animations that bounce around for what would be considered "animation."
1.0 Sound
"Who let the elves out" and "Elf elf baby" not only date the product back to the last decade, they're almost embarassing to hear blurt out of the DS speakers.
1.0 Gameplay
A single Wario Ware challenge is more playable and fine by itself than the entire package that is Elf Bowling 1 & 2
1.0 Lasting Appeal
Try and finish a game of Elf Bowling 1 or Elf Bowling 2 without groaning. I dare you.
1.0 Abysmal

Real Time Conflict: Shogun Empires
http://ds.ign.com/articles/675/675688p1.html

Closing Comments
When Real Time Conflict: Shogun Empires was announced I was excited. I am a huge fan of the many of Shogun Empire’s inspirations, and the idea of a touch screen RTS is simply intriguing. The DS is ideal for this genre, and yet players looking for entertainment in Shogun Empires will be dissatisfied with the worthless gameplay and lack of true depth needed for a strategy game of this magnitude. It is simply no fun to explore, painful to play, and lacking of everything that makes strategy titles entertaining and addictive. Luckily fans have another option, since DS will be treated to a pocket version of Age of Empires next year. My advice is to pick up advance wars, wait for Age of Empires, or go back and dig up Defender of the Crown for GBA. Real Time Conflict: Shogun Empires is a complete and unmitigated failure and should not be supported.

3.0 Presentation
In a genre where interaction means everything, intuitive design is essential. There is no reaction for commands given, and the game’s AI only adds further frustration.
3.5 Graphics
While some menus and character portraits look good, the main game features terrible animation and low-poly models that wouldn’t make the cut on N64, PS1, or even with the SNES FX chip.
3.0 Sound
The soundtrack was decent, but the continuous use of mashed together VO made us actually mute the game.
2.0 Gameplay
The core gameplay is a complete waste of time, and no fun can actually be found in the real-time battles of Real Time Conflict.
1.0 Lasting Appeal
There is no reason to play this game multiple times. Hell, there isn’t a reason to take it out of the box.
2.5 Terrible

Scooby-Doo! Unmasked
http://ds.ign.com/articles/675/675514p1.html

Closing Comments
Scooby-Doo Unmasked is undone by its lack of polish, making it hard to recommend even though there's a lot to like. If you've got a kid who's really into Scooby and can put up with a few frustrations, however, it might still be worth a shot. The 2.5D polygonal graphics are much more solid than the DS Kim Possible -- even though the effects are still often kind of budge' (what the hell are those sparkling things supposed to be in the circus?), you're not as confused by the clutter, and Scooby himself looks a little better than thanks to clearer characteristics on the dog and more interesting animation in and out of costume. Sound isn't anything to get excited about (once again with DS, no voice-over except for some yelps from Scooby) but the music is good and spooky, and the use of simple animated sequences classes up the game. It's still really short, but the levels are big and might be worth a second play-through. And the game's story brings back a bunch of classic Scooby-Doo villains -- it's always good to see that hypnotizing ghost clown is still getting gigs. A little polish to take out the blind jumps and make attacks fun, and this would have been a total sleeper hit. In this case, those meddling kids should have done some more meddling.

6.5 Presentation
The story is given the text-only treatment, and everything feels about par for DS. Still, you can't beat it when Scooby-Doo ducks behind a curtain and comes out in costume.
7.0 Graphics
Mixing 3D graphics and 2D gameplay works well on DS, and except for some ugly colors and low-res textures, the game comes off well. Scooby sure does look the part.
6.5 Sound
No voices, and the effects are all clunks and squashes, but those classic Hanna-Barbera music themes are here and spooky!
6.5 Gameplay
Scooby knows lots of tricks, which makes this game fun. But one trick he should have learned was how to play well with others.
4.0 Lasting Appeal
As a kids' game, it feels about about long enough, and it's fun enough for at least one more run through it. Still, quite short, with no special minigames or bonuses to keep your tail wagging.
6.5 Passable

Battles of Prince of Persia
http://ds.ign.com/articles/675/675504p1.html

Closing Comments
Prince of Persia is an amazing franchise that has conquered the 3D conversion, and in my opinion is the best game to have done so thus far. However, there is no reason to forget the impact that it had over the 2D world, and there is certainly no reason to fix what isn’t broken. Rather than delivering a solid title full of familiar gameplay an alternate route was taken. While it does have a few moments of entertainment, there just aren’t enough reasons to invest time and money into this product. Battles of Prince of Persia could have been a must-own title, but the bar for quality DS products has been raised significantly in the past months, and something this void of true entertainment simply can’t be endorsed. Fans deserve a true Prince of Persia adventure, or at the very least one that will make the series proud. There is nothing wrong with being different; hell Mario Kart is a spin-off franchise. However, when trying to take a series to new lengths like Ubisoft did this time around, designers better be certain they have a reason to do it, and enough time to do it right.

6.0 Presentation
While Battles of Prince of Persia does fit within the franchise it simply doesn’t deliver the magic of the other titles.
5.5 Graphics
In-game art is far too basic for the DS, and the battle sequences just aren’t up to par.
8.0 Sound
Inspired and true to design. The soundtrack is strong and carries the mood of the game very well.
4.5 Gameplay
Battle control is unpolished, and the overall flow of the game is less than acceptable.
6.0 Lasting Appeal
Should players find enjoyment in the faulty gameplay there are a fair amount of modes and options to play with along with 200 cards to collect.
5.5 Mediocre

Zoo Tycoon (1/2 Seite): 58%
Kirby Power Paintbrush (1/4 Seite): 84%
Tony Hawk (1/12 Seite): 85%
NfS: Most Wanted (1/12 Seite): 48%
King Kong (1/12 Seite): 69%
