New Game From Unchained Blades Developer: X Tetra
Unchained Blades has definitely been a big surprise for all Western role-playing games fans: the game is an excellent dungeon crawling game featuring many dungeons full of traps, lots of monsters and a few nicely developed gameplay systems like the monster recruiting system and the growth system. The game has been released in North America on both PSP and Nintendo 3DS thanks to Xseed games.
Developer FuRyu has announced on the latest issue of Famitsu that the team is currently working on another dungeon crawling role-playing game called X Tetra.
In X Tetra the unnamed hero is the only one who can absorb the mysterious X energy from monsters and use it to work miracles. This unique ability will be the key in saving the X Tetra world.
Artist Enami Katsumi, who’s worked on Star Ocean: The Last Hope is going to work on the game as well as the famous composer Yoko Shimomura who has worked on many games’ soundtracks.
X Tetra is going to get released in Japan on PsVita and Nintendo 3DS on October 17th. As of now there are no news on a possible North American release: let’s hope that Xseed will pick this one for localization as they did with Unchained Blades.
