3DS Nintendo 3DS - Softwarethread

[h=2]Nintendo releasing “cavalcade” of big-name, fan-favorite Wii U and 3DS games[/h]
Let’s face it: Nintendo’s early 2013 lineup is bleak. Nintendo only has one major, core game releasing in January and February: Fire Emblem: Awakening.
Things will begin to turn around in March, according to president Satoru Iwata. Through the rest of the year and into 2014, “Nintendo will release a cavalcade of strong, fan-favorite software titles for both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.”
Iwata wrote in an investor’s statement:

“Beginning in March and continuing through the rest of the calendar year and into 2014, Nintendo will release a cavalcade of strong, fan-favorite software titles for both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. New entries in the Mario Kart, Super Mario, Legend of Zelda, LEGO City, Wii Fit and Pikmin franchises will help Nintendo regain momentum for Wii U. Additionally, highly anticipated Nintendo 3DS games such as Luigi’s Mansion 2 and Animal Crossing: New Leaf have the potential to be hardware drivers and bring new audiences to the platform.”

Wird doch da aufgezählt:
New entries in the Mario Kart, Super Mario, Legend of Zelda, LEGO City, Wii Fit and Pikmin franchises ... highly anticipated Nintendo 3DS games such as Luigi’s Mansion 2 and Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Was soll er auch sonst sagen. Geheime Projekte wird er da nicht nennen. :P

Nintendo willing to help Japanese third-parties release 3DS games overseas

Western third-party support of handheld development has dropped off, according to Nintendo president Satoru Iwata. Studios aren’t making as many portable titles as compared to the time of the DS.

That being said, Japanese companies are more involved than ever with 3DS game-making. Nintendo plans “to more actively support the Japanese software developers in distributing their key titles overseas this year.” Iwata specifically pointed to Professor Layton as a series that Nintendo has published in the west and said the that company will “increase the number of such games for
the U.S. market as well as in Europe.”

Finally, Iwata expressed openness in working with third-party developers in releasing their games overseas. Maybe they’ll give Square Enix a kick in the butt when it comes to Bravely Default?
