Manga Naruto/Boruto - Der Manga Thread!

The Last: Naruto the Movie Earned 1.47 Billion Yen by 3 PM Opening Day

The Last: Naruto the Movie is now playing in Japan and fans in the Land of the Rising Sun are enjoying the movie to its fullest! According to the website for Japanese newspaper Nikkan Sports via TOHO (the movie’s distributor), Naruto’s latest big screen adventure earned an estimated 1.47 billion yen by 3 PM on opening day. In US currency, that’s over 12 million dollars!

To put it into a different perspective, it took Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie a few weeks to surpass the 1 billion mark and that is the highest grossing Naruto movie ever! In fact, in its entire 2012 theatrical run, Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie grossed a total of 1.48 billion yen.

We can only wonder what the final sales numbers will be for The Last: Naruto the Movie when it’s all said and done, but we are truly proud as Naruto fans! From Saiyan Island to Masashi Kishimoto and the team behind The Last: Naruto the Movie, congratulations on this great achievement!

Film opens with Hinata being bullied by three kids. Naruto, wearing a red scarf, stands up for her but gets knocked out after a punch. The kids take his red scarf and destroy it. Hinata keeps the scarf.

Next, Hiashi is talking to Toneri, who says he wants the Byakugan and the princess. Hiashi refuses, but Toneri and his forces kill Hiashi's guards and seriously injure Hiashi.

Back in the village, Naruto is training people. Many girls are falling for him, trying to get his attention calling him "senpai." Many girls give him a lot of gifts. Hinata notices it and looks sad.

Hinata starts making him a new scarf. She has trouble giving it to him because she's nervous. One night, she runs into him at the ramen shop when he's there with Sakura and others. She's invited to sit next to him, but she notices he's wearing a new scarf. They don't reveal who gave him the scarf until the end, but Hinata thinks it's from another girl.

A group of girls comes up and tries to get Naruto to eat with them, one girl grabs his arms. Apparently, Naruto is aware that Hianta loves him, but he thinks it's love like the way that he loves ramen. At least that's what Sakura tells Hinata when she's trying to encourage her to go for Naruto.

Another night, Hinata is near Naruto's place and practicing her confession outside, when Naruto comes home and finds her. She is thinking about the scarf that Naruto is wearing, thinking he must have gotten it from a girl. While they are talking, her stomach growls because she hasn't eaten since she's been working on the scarf. Naruto invites her to eat cup ramen, but she runs away.

She's sitting alone in a park when Toneri appears. He notices the scarf and asks if he can have it. She refuses, but he tries to kidnap her. Naruto comes and chases after him and stops them, but Hinata falls off a building and is saved by the scarf being caught on something, so it tears.

Meanwhile, Hanabi is kidnapped. Sai has noticed that the moon is getting bigger. Kakashi assembles a team to rescue Himawari(copied from the post, obviously supposed to be Hanabi). It's Shikamaru, Sai, Sakura, Hinata, and Naruto. They start looking for Himawari(copied from the post again), following clues, and they find a cave. During their search, Naruto notices that Hinata has been staying up all night fixing the torn scarf.

Before the portal, Toneri appears and tells Hinata that he is going to marry her because she's a Hyuuga. In the cave they go through the portal, but they are all affected by genjutsu and put in a dream like state. Hinata starts remembering her childhood. One time in class, Iruka-sensei asked everyone who they would want to be with if the world was about to end, Naruto says he doesn't know anybody so he throws out his paper.

Naruto starts to dream too. Hinata was carrying the scarf in her bag and it falls out, starting to wrap around her and Naruto. Naruto starts having memories with Hinata. For example, the time she gave him medicine at the chuunin exams. The time she fougth for him against Pain. The classroom. (I also want to add, that when they are asked the question, Naruto is sitting next to Sakura who is sitting next to Sasuke, and Sakura hides her paper when she thinks Sasuke is looking.)

Naruto's adult self starts to walk around his dreams, and he sees that while he didn't write anything on his paper, Hinata had written Naruto's name on hers (since their dreams were being connected). He remembers her offering the medicine. He is knocked back into the time when she fought Pain for him and they show her confession.

Sakura wakes everyone up from the genjutsu, but Naruto has changed. He starts to see Hinata differently and realize what "love" is.

On the other side of the portal, they end up in a strange civilization, but no one is there. It's a ghost town. They keep looking around, and there are a lot of Naruto and Hinata moments. I mean a lot. They spend a lot of time together, and Naruto is obviously acting differently.

One time, Hinata screams because she runs through a spider web, but Naruto cleans it off her. Another time, they are eating cup ramen together, but Naruto leaves to use the bathroom and falls on his back. Hinata gives him medicine and he tries to put it on, but he can't reach it, so Hinata applies it to his back.

The rest of the group come back and tell them they found something. They found a strange area with a bunch of orbs, and a random guy comes up and spits up a glowing ball that gives Hinata a lot of memories. There was a war long ago with a large weapon that destroyed many people. It's the same weapon that Toneri is using to pull the moon the to earth.

While all of this is going on, everyone on earth is defending against debris falling from the moon. A huge chunk is about to hit the leaf village, but Lee and other ninja destroy it. I want to add that Lee does a big punch that breaks it in half. As the big piece is about to crash into the village, Sasuke blows up it up and says he has to protect the village since Naruto isn't there. He brings back Hiashi who he found gravely injured. That's his only appearance.

Anyways, Hinata changes after she sees the memories, but since they didn't find anything about Hanabi, they leave. When they are resting in another area, Hinata is along fixing the scarf, and Naruto comes up to her. He confesses to her, saying he loves her and wants to be with her. Immediately after, Toneri appears. Naruto tries to stop her, but Hinata goes with him, saying goodbye to Naruto.

Why does she go? He has a weapon that's pulling the moon to the earth, so she wants to destroy it. He wants to marry her because she's the Hyuuga princess. By this point, he has taken Hanabi's eyes, and they become the God eyes or something. Naruto chases after them, but Toneri seriously injures Naruto. Sakura uses all of her strength to heal him so he wakes up, but he's despressed because he thinks Hinata rejected him.

Shikamaru tells him to talk to Sakura because she pretty much passed out trying to revive him. Sakura tells him that Hinata still loves him, since a girl's heart never changes, and she's also referring to herself and Sasuke.

Hinata is at the moon palace and time goes by. Toneri reads her heart and sees Naruto. Toneri tells her that he wants her to make him a scarf, so she starts making one.

Hinata tries to sneak around and find the weapon so she can destroy it. Toneri takes her to a shrine and shows her the weapon, but it's just a fake one and the real one is somewhere else.

Everyone on earth is still dealing with the debris. The Raikage unveils a large weapon that uses chakra to create a giant gun.

Naruto comes around and they head off to find Hinata. Hinata is caught sneaking around, and Toneru realizes that the scarf she is making is not for him but for Naruto, so he mind controls her and he starts a marriage ceremony.

When they get to the palace, Sakura and Sai go off to save Hanabi, Shikamaru and Naruto go for Hinata. They find Toneri and Hinata in the marriage ceremony, but Hinata shows now emotion. Toneri summons guys to fight them, so Shikamaru stays to fight them so Naruto can go after Hinata.

Toneri takes Hinata underground and they end up near the big weapon that's pulling the moon to the earth. Toneri uses Hinata to fight Naruto, but Naruto manages to save Hinata. Toneri is not pleased, but he keels over in pain due to his eyes. His eyes were not fully developed into the god eyes, so multiple times before this he felt pain in his eyes and needed to rest a lot.

Naruto and Hinata use the chance to go for the big weapon. Naruto wants to destroy it, but Hinata tells him he can't do it because his chakra won't work. Hinata tries to do it herself, but isn't strong enough. Naruto and Hinata hold hands so their chakra can meld and they destroy the weapon together, so the moon stops falling to the earth.

Surprise! The big weapon was made up of hundreds of byakugan! Now there are hundreds of byakugan floating around. Toneri recovers and goes to fight Naruto. He captures Hinata and puts her in a cage. Toneri transforms into a white god-like being since his eyes finally developed.

His power brings to life a giant stone monster, but Naruto summons the nine-tails to fight it. Naruto and Toneri fight. They fly around shooting at each other. It's pretty much Drabonball. The final battle is Dragonball.

Anyways, since he has the god eyes, the moon starts falling back to the earth. The Raikage wants to use their weapon to destroy the moon, but Kakashi convinces him to wait while they fight. Naruto manages to get the upper hand and knocks Toneri out. He rescues Hinata who just walks up and takes his eyes out (they don't show it, but it looked like it took 5 seconds.) Hanabi gets her eyes back at the end.

Toneri goes mad and all the Byakugan merge into his body. I should elaborate a bit. Apparently Toneri thinks that long ago when the Sage and his younger brother separated, with the Sage going to the earth and the brother going to the moon, that the younger brother wanted to take over the earth.

Earlier when Hinata received memories, she learned from the younger brother that it wasn't the case, but Toneri doesn't believe anyone and has gone mad. The Byakugan eyes start to morph him into a strange monster, but Naruto reaches out to "save" him. This finally stops the moon from crashing into the earth, Toneri doesn't die but wants to stay on the moon and never interfere.

When they head back to earth through the portal, that's when Naruto and Hinata end up in the air in front of the moon, and they have a long kiss. Fade to black. Then there's a scene with Hinata looking older sitting at the table, knitting, I believe. Naruto is training on the veranda in the snow. Bolt and Himawari run in and jump all over Naruto saying they want to play.

It cuts to an album with a picture of Naruto and Hinata at their wedding in the middle, and baby pictures of Bolt and Himawari. You can hear Hinata join them and they all start to play in the snow. Naruto says Hinata is very strong.

The credits is just still images of their wedding. Everyone was there, except Sasuke, who I didn't notice. One funny part was Ino taking a selfie with Hinata, Tenten, and Sakura. No, really. They were taking a selfie. It concludes with a silhouette of Naruto kissing Hianta.

Surprise announcement! A movie staring Bolt is due in August 2015!

I probably left a lot of stuff out and messed up the order, but this movie is basically NaruHina the whole time. It's all about them getting together, and there are so many moments between them. I was very happy with the ending because you can see them happy together.
