also afaik war es nicht freiwillig, dass sie diese artwork cutscenes genommen haben.

steht auch bei wiki:
However, the number of cutscenes and in-game voiced sections are minimal, due to the PSP's UMD storage capacity constraints.

edit: von ign:
Now, while the translation of the Subsistence engine to the PSP is an impressive feat, there are still some visual issues that crop up every now and then. For one, you'll notice a lot of textural tearing that will pop up during some pans of the camera or transitional elements, which are extremely noticeable on the PSP's small screen. For another, you'll pick up on slowdown that will crop up here and there during furious battle sequences or massive explosions. It's not enough to cripple the game, but it's a tangible drop in game speed. Fortunately, the game has the visually striking cutscenes by Ashley Wood, who helped create the Digital Graphic Novel, to balance out any flaws from the Subsistence engine.
also eher wegen problemen mit der engine.
kp.

3) I understand that it is a tactical espionage action game but could you provide some explanation for bringing this title to the PSP platform? I saw 4 Snakes in the trailer presented at E3, is this COOP?

The game will be stealth-action based. I can't reveal too many details yet, but we are implementing features that can only be realized on the PSP platform that I believe everyone can look forward to. The game will be a little different from the METAL GEAR that players have come to know. However, the story can be replayed numerous times and the game is full of challenges to complete, so I feel that this title will really satisfy players with its long-lasting play time. Just as an example, do you recall the cardboard box at the end of the Peace Walker trailer? In addition to that two-man box, we are preparing a variety of other different cardboard boxes this time around.

To give a little more insight into the game, you can, how shall I say... customize Snake according to your preferences and determine what kind of soldier you will use prior to embarking on your mission. For example there's heavy gear configurations that make a lot of noise, but that allow you to equip numerous weapons.
Or, there are other configurations that won't allow you to carry many weapons, but will allow you to be light on your feet. We will be preparing a variety of other types as well. Being able to make decisions and plot a strategy will be one of the really enjoyable features of this title.

We are also working on a "growth feature" as well, where your character evolves. It will be a new type of system, so I hope everyone will look forward to it!

Infos aus der Fami

The focus of the Famitsu update is on the game's multiplayer cooperative component. This area of the game allows for two to four players to team up to clear missions.

Players will have to work together in a variety of ways for this area of the game. Screenshots show one player using the other player as a step to reach a higher platform. Another screen shows one player holding up a closing door while the other player runs inside.

Players can also save their allies. In one screen, we see one player reviving another player through CPR. Will there be mouth to mouth as well?

Kojima and crew have come up with some unique systems to facilitate multiplayer play. If you make your character put his hand on the back of another player's character, the two characters will be connected. When one moves, the other will follow automatically.

Some screens show a mysterious red ring surrounding two characters. While Famitsu doesn't say for sure, it seems that when these rings are overlapping, the two characters can share weapons and equipment.

Obviously, the multiplayer support suggests the strong possibility for strategic play. A few examples in Famitsu show players teaming up with multiple types of guns, allowing for long distance and close-range fire. One screen shows one character grabbing an enemy from behind after the enemy had been alerted to the other player approaching from the front.
