Nintendo Kickstarter-Projekte für WiiU und 3DS

Forbidden Sanctity für Wii U in Planung

Indie developer TreeFall Studios is planning its new project, Forbidden Sanctity, for Wii U. The title is said to be “A gaming experience that has the story, look, and feel of an RPG, with the jumping and puzzle solving mechanics of a 3D platformer.”

While TreeFall has opened a Kickstarter for Forbidden Sanctity, it already appears to be slated for Wii U. The game “will be a reason to own a Wii U, just to play this game with the Gamepad,” the developer says.


This is a Nintendo Wii U title. The Wii U version contains exclusive content and features, however there will also be a PC release. For those who are not fully convinced of the Wii U, Forbidden Sanctity will be a reason to own a Wii U, just to play this game with the Gamepad.


There has been a lot of time invested in thinking of applications and uses of the Wii U Gamepad. The controller itself really is the centerpiece and high point of the Wii U console. So many different things can be achieved or innovated using this very special controller. We plan to do our best to go above and beyond in our utilization of the Gamepad’s unique capabilities. We have many ideas in store ready to be tested! We plan on breaking down the touch screen into multiple sections in which you can continue with gameplay, without pausing, and you can use the swipe of your finger to switch and equip items, scan the map of the surrounding area, read quest information, and switch the members of your current party and player. We plan to also make the game completely playable on the Gamepad without needing the TV, however this mode will sacrifice key touch control features mentioned above. In the previous section we mentioned taking advantage of things such as the Gamepad’s microphone. In certain instances of the game this feature alone might have the capacity to change the entire experience based on immersing the player into the gameplay by adding depth, not gimmicks. This is a core RPG style of game, and silly maneuvers are not what the Gamepad is about.

JetGetters is billed as the world’s first Fighter Hijacking game, a mix of Just Cause 2 and Battlefield 3. It’s a game about jumping out of jets, doing mid-air stunts, hijacking your opponents in a frenzy of mid air combat! Nintendo Enthusiast wanted to reach out to developers, TinyBuild to find out if they had considered bringing their game to Wii U, considering Nintendo gamers love great multiplayer party games, and this is the response we recieved.

We have definitely considered porting the game to Wii U. We are committed to porting to Playstation platforms over the Spring, but we are open to other platforms as well. One of the big questions for us right now is the sales potential.

Das sieht doch schon mal ordentlich aus, und ich würde diesem Spiel schon einige Absatzahlen zutrauen, wenn der Preis stimmt. :goodwork: Es sieht auf jeden Fall schon einmal atmosphärisch aus, und das ist mir bei einem Spiel sehr sehr wichtig. Außerdem passt es prima in den Future Racing Thread. ;-)

Habe mir erst letztens Unepic geholt glaube das es sich auch um ein Indie Titel handeln müsste was damals für den PC kam. Ist wirklich gelungen und dauert ordentlich.

Bei Indie-Spielen mag ich es lieber, wenn sie eine kurze Spielzeit von 5-10 std. haben und in diese soviel Qualität reinstecken wie möglich. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich mich 20-30 std. für Unepic begeistern kann. Dafür ist mir meine Zeit dann zu schade.
 
Earthlock: Festival of Magic funded on Kickstarter

Earthlock: Festival of Magic has managed to reach its funding goal on Kickstarter. Just a few moments ago, the Kickstarter total surpassed $150,000. Less than two days remain in the campaign.
We should be seeing Earthlock: Festival of Magic next year. The game is slated to launch in Q2 2015 on the Wii U eShop.

Kommt für WiiU, wenn 200.000 Dollarios zusammenkommen und für 3DS bei 245.000.
Das mit der WiiU ist sogar zu schaffen.

SALVAGED SEEKS FUNDING

Opposable Games, an indie developer based in Bristol, UK are currently seeking funding for their ambitious asymmetric tactical action game for PC, Mac, Linux, Oculus Rift & Wii U.

The game has been built from the ground up with dual-screen gameplay in mind. You play as a deep space salvage commander who’s in charge of the team of salvage specialists. You control them directly from your second screen, and witness the action on your TV which is split accross the four differing views.

The campaign has a base goal of $125,000 and includes the Wii U version, but with 10 days left and over $100,000 to go – it’s certainly a large hill to climb!

To make your pledge, and remember no money will be taken unless fully funded, head on over to the Kickstarter page and choose the $25 dollar Wii U Key pledge, unless of course you want to pledge even more!

Ich freu mich riesig, dass es eine Wii U Version geben wird. Habe den Kickstarter ziemlich grosszügig unterstützt. Zusammen mit Ghost Song ist es meiner Meinung nach eines der vielversprechendsten Indie-Projekte. :)
Ich hab mir überlegt auch was zu geben, aber ich bin sehr skeptisch wegen der Life Action-Elemente.
