Will the gunfights be incorporated into the main gameplay, or will it be only in certain sequences or parts in the game?
Indy is a very cautious fighter, and gunplay is a last resort for him. To match up with that aspect of his character, gunplay is only in specific segments of the game. That said, the gunplay moments are very well rounded and an intuitive experience for the player.
Do enemies have physics applied to them?
We're using Havok for environmental objects and puzzle elements and ragdoll physics for enemies.
Can you describe the interactive environments?
We've taken a lot of time to make sure that each environment has objects for the player to interact with. For example, in a fistfight Indy can pick up a chair to use as a weapon and can either swing or throw it at an enemy. Once the chair breaks apart on a bad guy's head you can then pick up a piece of it and use that against the guy as well. Generally in combat the areas are chock full of objects for Indy to use. Additionally, there are also numerous Hotset items around the levels that have special payoffs when you use them. These are highly entertaining so we don't want to give too much away there.
Puzzles generally are very interactive as well, whether running from a giant stone sphere or trying to navigate a spike trap, players will be impressed with what we've done.
How easy is it to select an object to whip or pick up?
Both are very easy. If there's an icon that shows you can pick an object up and Indy is close enough to reach it, it's as simple as pressing a button. Objects that can be whipped will have an different icon when Indy is in range as well. Much care has been taken to make this game accessible, yet very fun and rewarding.
Is there a checkpoint system in the game?
Yes, there is a checkpoint save system in the game. Again we've tried to be very careful so that if the player fails a puzzle or combat section that the checkpoint places them back in a position that is fair.
Will the health lines be in the final game?
Huh? If you are referring to life bars over the character's heads, than yes.
Is the nunchuk your left fist and the Wiimote your right fist?
That is correct. You'll have a number of combat moves with each of the controllers depending on the gesture you perform.
Will there be situations when stealth is needed?
No not really. This game is less about sneaking around and more about adventuring and discovering new and exciting things.
