Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force Footage Shows Its New Six-Man Battle System

Compile Heart’s latest footage for Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force gives us a glimpse into its enhanced gameplay, most notably the inclusion of six-person parties. Here’s a look at the official video.

While the original Fairy Fencer F let you battle in parties of only three characters, Advent Dark Force will allow you to use parties of six. The enhanced PlayStation 4 game will also include new characters, an alternate story route, new abilities, and a higher difficulty level.

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force will release in Japan on November 5th, 2015 for the PlayStation 4.

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force coming west in spring 2016

Idea Factory International will bring Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force to PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe in retail and digital formats in spring 2016, the publisher announced.

The PlayStation 4 update to Fairy Fencer F offers three new story paths—The Goddess story, the Vile God story, and the Evil God story–each leading to different outcomes. Players can also have six characters on the battlefield at once, and there are three new difficulty settings (Easy, Normal, and Hard).

This post will be updated with a trailer at 1:00 p.m. ET.

ja gibt es in form einer erweiterten version, die erst vor zwei monaten in japan erschienen ist. im westen gibt es aber noch keine ps4 version.

ja gibt es in form einer erweiterten version, die erst vor zwei monaten in japan erschienen ist. im westen gibt es aber noch keine ps4 version.

Die erweiterte Version soll im Frühjahr 2016 bei uns erscheinen. Wers spielen möchte sollte noch ein bisschen warten.

es ist der selbe content. sogar etwas erweitert. es wurden auch verbesserungen im gameplay vorgenommen.

Idea Factory International has released a new set of character descriptions introducing four characters set to appear in Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force.

Due out for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe this spring, Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is a ‘rebirth’ of the original game. It offers three new story paths—“the Goddes story,” “the Vile God story,” and “the Evil God story”—and sees protagonist Fang and friends take on a new, evil organization, meet new fairies and Fencers, and battle with up to six party members at once.

Fang

Our always-hungry hero who meets Eryn after he pulls a sword from a stone. He sets off on an adventure (toast in mouth if you so choose) at Eryn’s request. Despite his lazy attitude, you can rely on him!

Eryn

A fairy who dwells in Fang’s sword. She has amnesia and cannot remember anything about her past but she is determined to collect all the Furies of the world!

Tiara

A Fencer on a mission to revive the Goddess. She has a serious personality and speaks in a high-handed manner. She teams up with Fang after tricking him into following her. She can be terrifying when she’s angry, so don’t mess with her!

Cui

Tiara’s cute fairy. Although she only says “cui, cui,” she has no problem communicating with Tiara.

Sherman

A Fencer on a mission to collect Furies to ensure world peace. He doesn’t get along well with Fang because of their opposing personalities.

Ryushin

Sherman’s fairy partner. He’s a stubborn robot with a serious personality.

Ethel

Fang meets this Fencer when she ambushes him. She is a quiet killing-machines whose words can only be understood by her fairy, Karin.

Karin

Ethel’s fairy partner. She has a gentle, mellow personality, which is a stark contrast to Ethel.

Harley

A scientist who has studied fairies to the point of obsession. She’s also a Fencer who specializes in gun slinging.

Bahus

Harley’s fairy partner. Despite his intimidating looks, he’s actually very caring and kind! He enjoys domestic activities like cooking and cleaning.

Galdo, Paiga, Marianna, & ihre Feen

Idea Factory International stellt euch heute die Figuren Galdo, Marissa, Paiga, Vivian, Marianna und Khalara aus Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force vor. Je nach der Route, für die ihr euch im Spiel entscheidet, werden euch andere Figuren begleiten. So werden sogar aus ehemaligen Feinden später neue Kameraden, die an Fangs Seite in den Kampf ziehen.

Galdo: Er ist ein leidenschaftlicher und heißblütiger Fencer, dessen Waffe die Form einer Sense hat. Galdo arbeitet als Angestellter für die Organisation „Dorfa Corporation“. Als er sich mit Zenke auf einer Mission befindet, gerät er in einen Kampf gegen Fang.

Marissa: Sie ist Galdos Fee und benimmt sich wie eine Mutter. Ihre Persönlichkeit verbindet sich gut mit Galdos rauflustigem Wesen.

Paiga: Er ist ein Mitglied der Gruppe „Dorfa’s Four Heavenly Czars“. Obwohl er ein Fencer ist, macht er keine gute Figur auf dem Schlachtfeld. Er beobachtet aus diesem Grund lieber seine Kollegen.

Vivian: Sie ist Paigas Fee. Die anderen machen sich gerne lustig über ihre leichte Bekleidung, sowie über ihre Mäuseohren, die sie an ihrer menschlichen Form trägt.

Marianna: Wie Paiga gehört sie zur Gruppe „Dorfa’s Four Heavenly Czars“. Als Fencer arbeitet sie fleißig daran, Furies zu sammeln um den Einfluss von Dorfa zu stärken. In ihrer Freizeit besucht sie freiwillig in einem Waisenhaus und spielt dort an der Harfe für die Kinder.

Khalara: Er ist Mariannas Fee. Man sollte sich nicht von seinem drolligen Aussehen täuschen lassen. Khalara ist kein niedliches Maskottchen, denn seine obszöne Redensart eignet sich nicht für junge Ohren.

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force first English screenshots

Idea Factory International has released the first English screenshots and three new character profiles for Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force.

The upcoming RPG features two new story routes, the Vile Goddess and Evil Goddess routes, through which you’ll meet new characters like Pappin, who has a mysterious connection to a Fencer named Pippin!

Pippin

A strange Fencer whose biological origins are unknown. He’s talkative and nags others way too much. A sword is stuck in his head, but it doesn’t seem to affect him.

Soji

Pippin’s fairy partner. His human appearance causes people to believe he is a Fencer, while Pippin is his fairy. He is familiar with Pippin’s supposed father, Pappin.

Pappin

Pippin calls him “Father” but whether Pappin is Pippin’s father or not remains a mystery. He’s an enigma with a strong allegiance to his path as a Fencer.

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is due out for PlayStation 4 in North America on July 26 and in Europe on July 29.

Fairy Fencer F: Boxart, Wendecover und neue Charaktere

Idea Factory International hat die westlichen Boxarts zu Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force vorgestellt. Das Cover kann auch gewendet werden, dabei kommt ein Artwork von Yoshitaka Amano zum Vorschein. Die erweiterte Fassung von Fairy Fencer F erscheint am 29. Juli in Europa für PlayStation 4.

Zusätzlich stellt der Publisher noch die Figuren Noie und Junown vor, die ein kompliziertes Verhältnis zueinander haben. Beide gehören zum mysteriösen Septerion-Club, welchem sich Fang und seine Freunde stellen müssen. Dabei gesellt sich der pessimistische Noie zur Heldengruppe, während die elegant anmutende Junown den Kopf des Septerion-Clubs darstellt.

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force bietet auch auf der PS4 humorvoll inszenierte Anime-Rollenspielkost mit interessantem Setting und sympathischen Antihelden. Gegenüber dem PS3-Original gibt es sogar weitreichende Veränderungen wie doppelt so große Kampfgruppen, zusätzliche Schwierigkeitsgrade sowie alternative Handlungsverläufe inklusive neuer Schauplätze, Figuren und Spielenden, so dass sich selbst für Veteranen ein erneuter Besuch lohnt. Die technische Seite präsentiert sich hingegen trotz flüssigerer Bildrate reichlich antiquiert - vor allem Dungeon- und Gegnerdesign wirken wenig zeitgemäß. Auch der Spielverlauf gestaltet sich trotz zusätzlicher Facetten stellenweise recht monoton und wiederholungslastig. Die motivierende Charakterentwicklung und individuelle Kombo-Erstellung gleichen das aber wieder aus. Auf eine deutsche Lokalisierung wurde allerdings auch dieses Mal verzichtet.
