The Japanese sales figures are in for the highly-anticipated Dragon Ball Xenoverse! In its first week in Japan, an estimated 44,221 copies of the PlayStation 3 and 34,690 copies of the PlayStation 4 version were sold, earning the game the top two spots on the list! Combined for both platforms versions, the game did pretty well with a total of 78,911 copies sold in just four days at retailers. In other words, the game sold an average of almost 19,728 copies per day since its February 5, 2015 release.
The sales numbers are from Japanese analytics company MediaCreate for the period between February 2 to February 8, 2015, which provides sales data for the top 20 games sold on a weekly basis. For those curious, the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions did not make the list. The format and game sales numbers for the period are as follows:
