Wii controls now implemented.
Following the recent release of Super Paper Mario (in the US that is), the spotlight has turned to the next (and final?) of Nintendo's 'once-GameCube-turned-Wii games' DK Bongo Blast. Since E3 last year, little information about the game has been revealed. In the latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu however, new details have emerged.
Apparently, the game will utilize the Nunchuck and Wii controllers by having players shake both to accelerate, shake one to steer into a corresponding direction, while raising the Wii remote and Nunchuck together will allow you to jump. Players will also be able throw barrels among other obstacles via unsaid controls.
Players can also look forward to racing on 16 courses which are set across 7 different worlds as well as splitscreen multiplayer support for up to four players.
DK Bongo Blast is currently set for release in Japan on the 28 of June. We'll report back once more information becomes available.
