Because Hirano a slut. Why no Haruhi?
Denkt euch nix.

Sentai Filmworks describes the story:
Kiss kiss, bang bang! The arms race takes on a startling new development when the arms come with heads, legs, and very feminine bodies attached! Yes, at Seishou Academy every girl is literally a lethal weapon, and they're all gunning for the top shot at getting their own personal serviceman! Needless to say, it's going to be difficult for newly recruited human instructor Genkoku to adjust to working with a living arsenal of high caliber cuties with tricky names like FNC (Funko), M 16A4 (Ichiroku), L85A1 (Eru), and SG 550 (Shigu). Especially since many have hair triggers and there's no bulletproof vest that can stop a really determined co-ed!
Genkoku will have to rewrite the operator's manual on student/teacher relationships, and pray that his job description won't include having to field strip and reassemble one of his cadets in the dark. But unfortunately (for him) FNC's already thinking about becoming his personal weapon, and she usually gets what she aims for! et ready for explosive situations, amour-piercing rounds, cheap shots galore and one very shell-shocked homeroom instructor!
Studio Ghibli co-founder and The Wind Rises director Hayao Miyazaki won the Annie Award for Writing in an Animated Feature Production on Saturday. He was competing with the writers of Monsters University and Frozen. The Wind Rises' Kitaro Kousaka was also nominated for Character Animation in a Animated Feature Production, but lost to The Croods animator Jakob Jensen.
The Wind Rises was competing for Best Animated Feature along with A Letter to Momo (distributed by GKids); Walt Disney Animation Studios's Frozen won the top award of the night and four other awards. The Annie Awards Ceremonies' host Patrick Warburton joked in his opening monologue that The Wind Rises is Miyazaki's fifth "final" feature, and he cannot wait to see Miyazaki's sixth.
Anime and manga creator Katsuhiro Otomo appeared in person to accept the Winsor McCay Award for lifetime achievement. He joked that he does not know why he received the award since he does not watch his own works, so he promised to go back to Japan to watch his films. He added that the award will inspire him on his future works.
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Shiki Mizuchi's Dragonar Academy light novels announced that Yui Sakakibara will perform the opening theme for the anime, while Mariya Ise, Ayane Sakura, and Marina Inoue will perform the ending. The title of the opening is “Seiken Nante Iranai” (I Don't Need a Holy Sword), while the ending theme is titled "MOST Ijō no 'MOSTEST'” (A “Mostest” More Than Most). All four women performing the theme songs also play characters in the anime.
Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing Ran's manga version of Shiki Mizuchi's original light novel series in North America starting in February 2014. The publisher describes the manga:
Learning to ride and tame dragons comes easy to most students at Ansarivan Dragonar Academy—except for first-year student Ash Blake, who is known by his fellow classmates as the “number one problem child.” Poor Ash is the laughing stock at school because, despite his unfashionably large star-shaped brand that marks him as a future dragon master, he has nothing to show for it. His dragon has never appeared.
Until now, that is. One fateful day, Ash's dragon awakes in full glory, but appears different than any dragon ever seen before—in the form of a beautiful girl! What's worse, Ash soon discovers that this new dragon has attitude to spare, as she promptly informs him that she is the master, and he, the servant.
Ash's problems with dragon riding have only just begun.
The cast for the anime and the earlier drama CD include:
Kouji Takahashi as Ash Blake
Mariya Ise as Eco
Ayane Sakura as Silvia Lautreamont
Marina Inoue as Rebecca Randall
Asami Shimoda as Anya
Yui Sakakibara as Navi
Tomoaki Maeno as Raymond Kirkland
Genki Muro as Maximillian Russell
Takehito Koyasu as Milgaus
Haruhi Terada as Angela Cornwell
Yoshiko Ikuta as Cosette Shelley
Mizuchi launched the story as a light novel series in 2010, and Media Factory published the 14th volume on November 22. Ran has been drawing the manga adaptation in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive magazine since last year.
The anime series will premiere in 2014.
