Dead Or Alive Dimensions Has “Figure Mode”
DOA has a bunch of sexy figures for you to pose and take pics with. Just remember, they’re action figures, not dolls.
Dead or Alive Dimensions, the upcoming 3DS adaption of the popular fighting series, is already bursting at the seams with its huge amount of content, including a
Chronicle Mode that collects all of the major plot points from the series, along with a
huge roster of characters that may or may not include Nintendo’s own
Samus Aran. One wonders how such an itty bitty handheld can support such huge amounts of gameplay without popping out.
But it looks like there’s just enough room for one more cosmetic enhancement. Revealed in this week’s Famitsu is “
Figure Mode“, which quite literally involves collecting action figures of the DOA cast. Under certain conditions, the game rewards you with one out of a thousand possible figures, each featuring a unique pose and outfit. These figures can then be viewed from any angle, set up in front of a custom background, and then snapped up in a screenshot using the game’s virtual camera. It sounds directly similar to Super Smash Bros…only about three sizes bigger and with less clothing.
You can save a portfolio of your perverted pics, though there’s no confirmation on whether you can share the photos with fellow friends who own the game; it certainly would be a heck of a conversation starter if photos were automatically shared as a result of the Street Pass feature.
Famitsu also revealed even more characters added to Dimensions’ roster, including Lei Fang, Tina, Kokoro, La Mariposa, Elliot, Gen Fu, Brad Wong, and everyone’s favorite non-ninja, non-female combo juggler, Jan Lee. Yep, the Bruce Lee knock-off has returned to frustrated 3DS owners worldwide.
More screenshots have been found on the magazine, including a further look into the game’s Chronicle Mode, but have yet to surface online. As always, 3DS Buzz will be there to update you once the info goes out.
