Xbox360 Dashboard Update - Frühjahr 07

Nene das ist mittlerweile etwas abgefedert es sieht so aus das die weiter Content kaufen können sofern der Urheber diesen Content nicht auf bestimmte Länder beschränkt. Aber der Jugendschutz für Deutsche bleibt wohl aktiv also kriegen nur wir einen Tritt in die Eier. Jetzt noch eine Verschärfung der USK und das war es dann.

Wir sind da leider ohnmächtig!!!

Sicher ist es scheiße Spitz, keine Frage aber viel können wir da nicht machen. Sicher man kann die XBox boykotieren, später müssteman das vll auch mit der PS3 machen. Na ja mal gucken wie es kommt.

Mit Sicherheit wird das auch für die PS3 so kommen. Das System hat ja eine riesige Ähnlichkeit mit der 360er. Is nur die Frage wann....

Naja trotzdem: Wenn jemand das Update gesichtet hat, dann bitte sofort melden. Werde jetzt mal Physik lernen(wobei ich mich immer noch frage, wo man das in der Medizin so massiv nutzen will, aber anderes Thema)

May '07 Dash update is now available

I am happy to announce that the May 2007 Dashboard update has now been officially released and is in process of being rolled out across the LIVE service. For many of you, the next time you sign in to Xbox LIVE, you will be prompted to receive the update. A couple of things to keep in mind over the next few hours as the update is deployed:

* You’ll be prompted to accept the update when you sign into Xbox Live sometime in the next few hours. You will only receive the prompt for the update upon sign in. You won’t get it in middle of a game.
* Regardless of what you have heard, it's not geographically based. No one area of the world will get it before another.
* If you log out and then back in again, this won’t force the update…it will only anger people on your friends list who will see you sign in, then out, then in, then out …
* Be patient, everyone will eventually receive the update

In addition to the LIVE Messenger integration feature in the new Dashboard, you’ll also see:

* New achievement pop-up with name and score value
* New Marketplace blade places content all in one place
* Friends playing now feature at Xbox LIVE Arcade
* Console can be set to turn off after downloads to save energy.

I want to say something about the last bullet point. What this means is that you can queue up your downloads and turn your console ‘off.’ When you turn it off during a download, you are actually switching your Xbox 360 into low power mode and the power light will blink very slowly as it continues downloading. After all the downloads are complete, the blinking light will stop and the console will automatically turn itself completely off. Downloads done.

Wenn keiner was sagt ja und danach sieht es ja auch aus. Nunja die Planungen zum PC aufrüsten laufen schon wird halt wieder mit Maus und Tastatur gezockt. Die Microsoft Blog Guerilla antwortet ja auch nicht mehr auf fragen die man an sie stellt leider.

Das war vorher klar Xvid auch nicht die Box spielt jetzt die gleichen Codecs ab wie die PS3 + den wmv kram.

Divx würde MS Geld kosten und wenn die eins nicht machen ist es den Kunden was schenken das wissen wir doch schon länger oder?

Etwas hoffnung gab es ja, wurde auch in einigen News erwähnt...

Edit: So update ist da gleich mal den USA Acc getestet...konnte weiterhin problemlos die kostenlosen inhalte vom video marktzplatz (die borat clips) runterladen.

Das ist wie mit den Demos es dauert bis die Sachen auf alle Live Server verteilt sind. Die einen kriegen es schneller die anderen langsamer.

Wer das Update immer noch nicht hat, soll sich die Testversion vom Arcade Game "Double Dragon" downloaden, da ist das Update mit bei
