Wie findet ihr das neue Dashboard?

Within the next few hours, we’ll be sending out the notification email for those accepted in to the New Xbox Experience Preview Program. The email will be coming from MsftConn@micrsoft.com and the common name for the account is Microsoft Connect. Only those who have been accepted into the program will be receiving an email. Everyone who was chosen will get the New Xbox Experience update later this week. It will be pretty obvious when you’re prompted to receive it…trust me. If you got chosen, congratulations. If you did not get in …don’t worry, November 19th is almost here.
 
Congratulations on your acceptance into the Xbox 360 Fall Flash Preview Program. As a member of this program you will be receiving the New Xbox Experience (NXE) System Update.
The update will be made available to you on or before November 1st. In order to receive the update, log in to Xbox LIVE with the Preview Program registered console.

In participation with this program, you should not move your storage device (hard drive, or memory unit if you do not have a hard drive) to any other console as it will also update that console. If an unregistered console is updated with the NXE update, that console will not be able to connect to Xbox LIVE until the NXE has been officially released on November 19th.
Please remember that your participation in the Public Preview Program is subject to the Xbox LIVE Terms of Use.
We thank you for your participation and hope that you enjoy the New Xbox Experience.

In knapp 14 Minuten werden alle grundlegenden Funktionen der New Xbox Experience erklärt - im Zentrum steht jedoch der mächtige Charakter-Editor, mit dem ihr euch einen eigenen Avatar erstellen könnt

Das System-Update soll ab dem 19. November zum kostenlosen Download über Xbox Live bereit stehen.

Bin übrigends auch dabei.
Habe bis jetzt noch jede Beta bekommen, für die ich mich angemeldet habe: COD4, Battlefield, EndWar und jetzt eben NXE;-)
 
Hey Leute! Würd mich ja mal interessieren, ob man mit einem Account installieren kann und beim Ummelden dann immernoch hat, also aufn anderen Account.
Bin für jede Umgehung offen, ich bin so verdammt ungeduldig! :sorry:

Nein, es wird nicht möglich sein, die Beta zu sharen - sie ist nämlich a die Konsole gebunden.

klingt für mich, als ob das schon möglich ist, allerdings kann man mit den nicht registrierten konsolen dann nicht mehr online gehen. Aber das was shibby meinte bezog sich glaub ich darauf, wenn man mehrere accounts auf seiner konsole benutzt. so wie ich z.b. einen zweiten us-account habe, sowie noch zwei weitere lokale profile für rock band sessions.

*UPDATE*

So, hier meine Eindrücke kurz und knackig:

+ Download & Installation hat bei mir ca. 4 Minuten gedauert
+ Es geht so verdammt schnell ab, das Dashboard reagiert sehr viel schneller auf Befehle, auch der Guide
+ der neue Guide ist wohl so ziemlich das Genialste. Man drückt auf den 360-Button aufn Controller und er erscheint wirklich direkt und man hat auf _alles_ Zugriff
+ Avatare sind sehr lustig gemacht, man merkt, dass sie von Rare kommen
+ sehr gut organisierter Marktplatz
+ das Menü vermittelt ein extremes Gefühl der Tiefe
+ alles gut strukturiert, seeeeeehr tief verschachtelter Marktplatz
+ mehrere Wege führen zum Ziel
+ alles voller Bilder und Packshots. So machen digitale Einkäufe bisschen mehr Spaß.
+ Packshots etc. werden von den Live-Servern geladen und dies geschieht wohl ständig im Hintergrund, sodass ich da noch keine Ladezeit oder so hatte
+ informative Übersichtsseiten jedes einzelnen Games
+ gute neue, unauffällige Menüsounds
+ ein "hier fühl ich mich wohl"-Gefühl
+ Installations-Feature ist echt cool. FIFA09 ohne lautes Brummen im Hintergrund


- noch nicht jedes Game hat ein Packshot
- Primetime wäre cool gewesen, wenn es jetzt schon fertig wäre
- insgesamt sehr viel Optik und viel "unter der Haube" an Geschwindigkeit verbessert, dafür jedoch relativ wenig neue Features (wird ja aber noch Einiges nachgereicht)

Fragen? Dann fragt einfach :-) Später teste ich noch, ob es noch Texturnachlader gibt, wenn ich Mass Effect installiere.
