Neue Infos aus einem Sega-Podcast.

For those of you who don't feel like listening to the whole podcast, here's a quick rundown of the major points of interest in the podcast:
- Customization is retained as far as controls are concerned, as well as HUD
- Gameplay to be mixed up, be it AI, enemy weapon variation, what not
- In-game On-Rails flight section confirmed for game
- Single-Player NPC's confirmed, as well as NPC-Player interaction
--Interesting side note, over 1.6 million hours logged in on TCon online
-Online skins will be unlocked in the in-game store
-7 ingame skins at the moment, may or may not change
- 4 suit slots, which are the game's version of perks
- Vote system gone, replace by a playlist system
- Appears as though online splitscreen is out of the question at the moment
- In splitscreen, whole screen is used for aiming area, transferred to a quadrant visually
- Invasion is either single player, up to four on splitscreen, or up to four online
- Offline and online players, as far as "currency" collection, are linked together
- In-game cutscenes, not in between level cutscenes (engine interaction, not pre-rendered movies)
- Conduits are not prevelant anymore. Enemies will still be able to be ushered onscreen, but you will not have to find the Conduits spawning them and destroy the spawn points to clear a room
- Drudge may still be dominant as enemies, but they will not look or act or fire the same way. In other words, just because an enemy might be a Drudge trooper does not mean it will act the same, look the same, or fire the same weapon, as the Drudge trooper next to it.
- New alien races to be introduced ingame
- All former weapons return, 6-7 new weapons are to return as well
- Sega responsible for direct-feed footage, unsure of when or if direct-feed will be available pre-release
- New composer (Diego Stocco not returning), but Diego's music will still be used, and possibly reworked
- Updates are being looked at as far as DLC, hotfixes and exploitation fixes. HOWEVER, new skins/maps as DLC is NOT BEING PURSUED.
- Not all weapons will zoom or have binoculars, the button that would be specifically used in the first game for zoom is now the altfire button. While for some weapons the altfire is a zoom or iron-sights option, other weapons will have neither as an option
- The core campaign will be bigger and longer than that of Conduit 1. Also, "coordinates" found in core campaign missions can be used to access side levels, or "one-off" missions, which will allow for perks, unlockables, and exposition in the game. These side levels are completely optional, and intended more for the competionist and do not detract from the main campaign.
- More bosses besides the Leviathan will be incorporated into the single player campaign
-Daos are going to be mentioned to development team as a possible currency name
- Demo disc to be brought up to HVS, but as HVSTony said here, not very likely at all
-Close to determining a release date
- Definitely will be a pre-order bonus, but it is undetermined what it will be
- "Hardcore" mode confirmed, as in no lock on or radar "Genial, mM das wichtigste!"
- Hacking is evident to HVS, steps being taken to prevent it
So obviously some of this is already known, and some has been recently confirmed onsite, but this is the whole Conduit 2 section of the interview, and its nice to have some more definite info.
