Breaking News: PayPal Holds Funds from PS3 & Wii Sales on EBay

Turns out getting qualified to auction your PS3 or Wii on eBay was only half the battle - reports are now coming in that PayPal is holding all the funds from PS3 sales via eBay.

Funds are held and accounts essentially froze until at least November 17, 2006 or when the seller can provide PayPal with a tracking number. Since PayPal is the only payment option allowed for PS3 and Wii auctions, even qualified sellers are left with no access to funds for almost a month, if not longer.

Earlier today we received a report from a seller who had been with eBay since 1998 and with PayPal since 2000. He has over 500 feedbacks with a 99.8% rating. Easily enough for the eBay console pre-sale restrictions. Here is his story

hier mal ein Video aus Norwegen. MAn versteht zwar nichts außer das sie zu 3 scheinbar ten sagen aber trotzdem sehr sehenswert da es neue Resistance eindrücke gibt. Besonders die szene mit dem Fenster ist schon sehr geil^^

Take a look at the video on this page. The language is Norwegian, sorry about that, but they are basically trying the PS3 for the first time in private and got 2 hours to spend with it. They are very impressed by the elegance of the system (the quietness, the quick boot up..etc) and the game they praised the most was Resistance. In the last quarter of the movie they test the glass physics and it's really nice. Take a look:

Bei mir klappts. Lustige Sprache btw... Playstation ten! Die haben anscheinend jede Menge Spaß mit der PS3. Das mit den Glsscheiben ist wirklich nice, ich glaube, dass das ganze Spiel voller solcher "Gimmicks" und Features steckt und wer schonmal einen Ratchet & Clank Teil gespielt hat, weiss, dass mehrmaliges Durchspielen auch belohnt wird. Bin schon auf die ersten Video Reviews gespannt.

Meine Launch Titel wären im Moment:

*Resistance
*Motorstorm
*Heavenly Sword
*Virtua Fighter 5

Dann vll. noch Assassins Creed, Genji 2, Ridge Racer 7. Wird ein heisser März werden! :D

könnt ihr euch eigentlich vorstellen das in 13 tagen die playstation 3 auf den markt kommt^^
