Halo at 4 million preorders on GameStop/EBGames?

According to Gamestop officials, over four million preorders have been made for Halo 3 on Xbox 360. Xbox Evolved has verified this information at five different Greater Cincinnati Gamestop locations, including Gamestop stores, EB Games stores, and Funcoland stores, all under the same umbrella. This information was verified at all locations, however company a document showing this information was not revealed.

In the coming months, if this information is verified this would be the most preordered videogame of all time. Many of Gamestop’s employees believe that a large portion of the preorders are being made by consumers that don’t even own a Xbox 360, that are just waiting for the price of the system to go down.

In comparison, Grand Theft Auto IV’s combined PS3 and 360 preorders at the chain of stores comes in a very distant second. Microsoft reported three weeks before the release of Halo 2 in 2004 that the combined retail outlet preorders for the title was 1.5 million, which at the time was a record in itself. Gears of War, the best-selling title on Xbox 360 has worldwide barely cracked the four million mark. If this is all true, it is very likely that Halo 3 will outsell even Halo and Halo 2 combined. We will have more as it develops.

Ich hatte mir nur einmal Halo auf der Xbox früher ausgeliehen...das war der totale Schrott. Ich verstehe diesen Hype überhaupt nicht...

Was willst du dir denn auch für 4 Spiele auf der Wii kaufen?

Zelda + Gammelport Nr. 1,2 + Excite Truck?

Bei dem derzeitigen Lineup ist die Wii mit ihren Software-Verkaufszahlen eben nicht so dolle dabei.

Was soll man auch erwarten?^^

Ich habe auch "nur" mit 2 Mio. gerechnet ... aber gleich 4 Mio. .

Halo 3 wird der absolute Blockbuster-Titel für die Xbox 360.

Ich mag Halo auch nicht aber es ist ein gutes Game. Recht gutes Game+ Mega Hype seitens MS + ein wirklich guter MP = 4 Mio presells^^ PS3 kann diese Weihnachten einpacken vielleicht wirds was 2008.

Tue ich ja auch nicht... da wie erwähnt... ich das Spiel nicht gut finde. Ich erinnere mich nur an die grottige KI und die lahme Story. Aufm PC gabs damals wirklich viel bessere Egoshooter...

Wie ich schon 1000 mal hier sagte:
Ich habe bereits 8 Wii-Games.

8 PS3 Games würde ich jedoch aktuell nicht zusammen bekommen.

Jupp, zumal was soll man dann über PSN sagen , dort gibt es doch quasi garnichts wenn man es mit dem Content von Live vergleicht , zudem ist er auch mal wieder falsch informiert den die Ösiaccs usw laufen alle noch... also kein Problem Content zu beschaffen ^^

Sie laufen noch bzw. die Accounts laufen weiter aber die Contentsperren kommen erst noch. Trotzdem hat der gute Darji mal wieder sein wahres Gesicht gezeigt.
