It's Labor Day weekend here in the US, and so lots of folks will be heading to the lake/ocean/park (or to their basement to hang out on Xbox LIVE). We're celebrating by letting you know what's shipping next week a little early, and announcing a "sale" on a few Xbox LIVE Arcade titles this weekend.

Cyberball 2072 and Fatal Fury Special are coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade next week, Wednesday, September 5, beginning at 9 AM GMT (2:00 AM PDT). Both are 400 points.

On top of that, four Xbox LIVE Arcade favorites will be available for half their regular price this weekend. Small Arms and Zuma Deluxe will be 400 points (regularly 800), and Gauntlet and Dig Dug will be only 200 points. Buy them beginning at 12 AM GMT on Sunday, September 2 (5 PM. PDT on Saturday, September 1) and continuing through 11: 59 p.m. GMT (4:59 p.m. PDT). Don't miss out!

Cyberball 2072 (400 Microsoft Points)
Rediscover the arcade classic game “Cyberball 2072” from Midway on Xbox LIVE Arcade. Take control of your robotic team, and call the plays to move your team downfield for a touchdown. But watch out, the ball gets hot if you don't keep moving! Keep your eye on the ball to make sure it doesn't go critical before you can score.

Fatal Fury Special (400 Microsoft Points)
The third title in the “Fatal Fury” fighting game series from SNK Playmore makes its way onto Xbox LIVE Arcade this Wednesday! Join Terry and Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi and 12 of the toughest titans in one of the biggest matches of the millennium. Set in Southtown, a fictitious American city, players must compete against the ruler of the underworld Wolfgang Krauzer. Who will win? You’ll have to play to find out.

Hoffe mal die mehr solcher Aktionen oder setzen alle Spiele die älter als ein Jahr sind um 200 Punkte runter.
Fatal Fury wird gekauft.
 
nette aktion. Zuma macht ja auf ne kurzweilige art und weise laune, und wenn man gauntlet über xbl zocken kann isses für 200 pt evtl auch ne überlegung wert (der rest sagt mir von den 50% games momentan nichts)

ma was anderes...hat wer die full zu Puzzle fighter? ich bekomm irgendwie kein online-match auf die reihe und wollt ma wissen ob datt momentan so normal is ??? Das Spiel an sich schnall ich zwar noch nich so ganz, wird aber mit der zeit ;)

Bei SoR2 geht's mir genauso. Hab mir gestern die Vollversion gezogen und ich bin hin und weg! Das Game ist echt wahnsinnig gut designt, Schwierigkeit passt (unbedingt den schwersten Modus zocken!), Grafik passt, Moves / Steuerung passen, Musik voll geil, vom Coop reden wir gar nicht erst. Das Game ist echt ein Traum!
Wenn man auch nur im Geringsten auf Side Scroller Bemus steht, ist das Spiel ein Pflichtkauf!
 
small arms is ja auf jeden fall richtig fetzig. Hab vorher noch garnichts von dem titel gehört, sollte man sich für die momentanen, 400 pt echt geben :)

verstehe den einen erfolg nicht, der heißt irgendwie "6 Stufen Kämpfer.. - oder so ähnlich. und zwar bekomm ich dafür 0 pkt. Is das normal? Finde das für nen Erfolg irgendwie, naja....seltsam..

Six Degrees of Small Arms - 0GP
Awarded for playing someone online who has this Achievement
=====================================
This achievement is based on the old TV game show "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" which
was based on a concept from a play called "Six Degrees of Separation". Basically the
idea is that you you've played someone who played someone who played someone who
played a developer.

1 degree means you've played a developer yourself
2 degrees means you've played someone who played a developer
3 degrees means you've played someone who played someone who played a developer
etc.

You don't actually have to win against them just play and complete a game with them
(win or lose).

If you keep playing online you're bound to pickup this achievement, my very first
online game I got the achievement with 5 degrees, shortly after I played someone who
bumped me up to 3. I don't know for sure (because I was never that high) but I
believe you need to be a 6 or lower to get the achievement. You can see what your
current degree is by entering the player stats page from the Battle Mode Menu.

It might not be worth any points but if you ask me it's a damn cool achievement and
one worth earning.
