- Metroid Prime 3 news coming the week of May 20th, Matt is hearing great things and is getting psyched.
- Battalion Wars II has online co-op play and so does Forever Blue
- Boogie is a game without a focus, still changing the controls like crazy
- Spidey 3 Wii sucks, but better than PS2 version... they rip on all the versions. Game was rushed to meet movie release date, nightmare working with Sony/Marvel.
- Three events next week with Wii stuff starting Tuesday:
Sega (Matt says this will be the biggest and he expects new stuff to shown, no embargo, Bozon mentions something about Samba De Amigo and NiGHTS), EA, and Ubisoft.
- They're hearing the rumor about Nintendo maybe setting up an office in San Francisco for PR staff where Perrin Kaplan, etc would move.
- New IP on DS to be announced next week
- Matt's cryptic announcement... a fighting franchise that came to Gamecube is coming to Wii, but now it's an adventure game. A game that sold well from a 3rd party. Sounds like Soul Calibur, which would be sweet.
- Oh, they said Mario and Sonic at the Olympics will be online...

LucasArts' titles and "Pool Party" coming to Wii?

LucasArts' titles and Pool Party coming to Wii - Image 1Video gaming site Codename Revolution claims that several LucasArts' titles will be available for the Wii later this year specifically some time around the holiday season. The information, as mentioned by the site, came from its own distributor contact.

Anyway, the titles are: LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, Thrillville II, as well as yet unknown title Pool Party. It should be remembered that back in October 2005, LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game was released on GameCube (GC).

It takes place during the prequel trilogy (Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith) with a bonus segment from Chapter 4: A New Hope. Since the rumored game has been dubbed as "The Complete Saga", we're not too certain if this is going to be a straight port or segments for The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi will be added as well.

Moving on to Thrillville, this is not a surprise because Electronic Arts (EA) already mentioned before that the title is already being planned for next-gen consoles.

We don't have any information regarding Pool Party but where thinking it's some kind of a mini games compilation or whatever. Regardless, we'll inform you as soon as we get more information about these titles.

Hey, hab doch noch etwas Zeit...wir können uns im "Wii Games" Bereich dann drüber unterhalten....

Ne dicke Ankündigung von Sega ? Shen Mue 3 ? Yakuza 3 ? :suprised:

Mal schauen was aus Metroid Prime 3 geworden ist. Ich hoffe die haben jetzt eine neue Engine entwickelt und die Steuerung ist nun 1:1.

Wieso um Himmels willen sollten die eine neue Engine entwickeln? Die alte war/ist sehr sehr tauglich und wird höchstens aufgebohrt...

Weil de Engine über 5 Jahre alt ist...Achso stimmt ja. Technik nicht mehr wichtig beim Wii...Sagt mal glaubt ihr eigentlich den ganzen Mist der hier über den Wii verzapft wird!? :rolleyes:

Dann denk doch mal drüber nach... Wii isn stärkerer Cube. Die MP Engine is auf Cube zugeschnitten. Engines lassen sich schön und leicht aufbohren bzw Teile neu schreiben... Macht es Sinn eine komplett neue Engine zu entwickeln? Du darfst dir die Frage gern selbst beantworten...
 
Na ja sie denken postitiv :lol:

Ich will ein richtiges Soull Calibur und keine ACT-ADV.
Wobei mich das auch nicht stören würde solange auch ein
richtiges Fighting Game kommt.

Jeder ist im Portwahn, zum Henker warum wird nicht SC3 portiert.
Das würde meine Sammlung komplett machen.

SC1-DC
SC2-GC
SC3-Wii
 
1.Leute beruhigt euch mal wieder ;) Wir werden bald sehen,wie Metroid sich verbessert hat ;)

2.Ein SC Adventure klingt geil,mega Geil ;) Heißt ja net,das ei SC Bemu net kommt^^
 
Soul Calibur wäre nice, egal ob Adventure oder BEMU, ich liebe die Serie seit Soul Edge auf der PS1 :)
