die PC-Version wird 53€ kosten, aber scheiß drauf, werde ich mir wohl auch day1 holen, obwohl ich gerade genug mit Monster Hunter 4 zu tun habe ^^

Wie Koei Tecmo bekannt gibt, ist inzwischen auch die PC-Version von Toukiden: Kiwami via Steam erhältlich. Auf PlayStation 4 und Vita ist die erweiterte Dämonjagd (zum Test) bereits Ende März erschienen. Die PSP-Fassung blieb hingegen dem schon im letzte Jahr bedienten japanischen Markt vorbehalten. Die User-Reviews der PC-Fassung sind bisher eher durchwachsen.

habe bisher keine großartigen Probleme mit dem Spiel, mehr als 30 Frames wären schön, aber da die Amis die Animationen wieder an die Frames gebunden haben (amateure), geht das ja leider nicht. Immerhin konstant 30 Frames und nicht ein Framedrop dadrunter.

Blöd: Auflösungen über 1980*1080 werden nicht supportet

man sollte schon ein Gamepad haben (Xbox One Gamepad funktioniert bei mir wunderbar), ansonsten wird nur Keyboard unterstützt, Maus wird ignoriert (schade: denn mit Maus wäre der Bogen und das Gewehr richtig gut gewesen)
 
Toukiden 2 reveals new characters, swordwhip

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu introduces new characters, a new weapon, and new oni set to appear in Toukiden 2.

Characters

- Akatsuki – A great woman burdened by crime. A woman who wields a naginata and is famous for being the strongest in Mahoroba Village. She is one of the Itsukusa heroes who fought in the calamity that destroyed the world. She is loved by everyone with her gentle personality. She shows a much darker expression after a certain incident.
- Homura – A first-class fighting wanderer. A wandering Slayer who traveled around as a thief. His weapon is a swordwhip. He is defeated by Akatsuki in Mahoroba Village, and reluctantly begins accompanying her.

Swordwhip

A bladed whip with a kunai attached to the tip. In addition to multi-stage attacks, the flying kunai makes it possible to pierce the enemy in all places. There is also a technique that lets you disorderly fire the whip forward. Its wide attack range is big enough that it can hit large oni in all parts.

Kashiri

A large, big-winged oni covered in red scales.

Toukiden 2 is due out for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita in Japan in 2016.

Toukiden 2 launches June 30 in Japan, PS4 demo launches April 11

Toukiden 2 will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita in Japan on June 30, Koei Tecmo announced. It will cost 7,800 yen on PlayStation 4 and PS3, and 6,800 yen on PS Vita.

A “Treasure Box” limited edition will cost 11,800 yen on PlayStation 4 and PS3, and 10,800 yen on PS Vita. It will include a special book of paintings, original soundtrack CD, nine character illustration clear files, and a download for exclusive armor.

GameCity and Amazon Japan exclusive sets are also being prepared. It will cost 19,800 yen on PlayStation 4 and PS3, and 18,800 yen on PS Vita. It will include the contents of the “Treasure Box” edition in addition to 17 Slayer charms, two original clear files, and a download code for the “Nyaburaham Rinnyan” exclusive Mitama.

A PlayStation 4 demo will be released on April 11. PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download it three days in advance. Niconico Premium users can also get a code to download the demo three days in advance (information here). You can apply to get the code between March 26 and March 27 at 23:59 Japan time.

A PS Vita demo is also being prepared, but a release date has not yet been announced.

Koei Tecmo also announced:

- In the character editor, you can edit name, gender, hair, face (contours, eyebrows, eyes, nose, and mouth), ornaments, body, voice, and weapons. View a few images here.
- New character Queen will be voiced by Shoko Nakagawa.
- It’s good to have save data from Toukiden: Age of Demons or Toukiden Kiwami. There is no equipment transferring, though.
- The strength of demons is less than after the Kiwami update. Both the story mode and multiplayer mode degrees of difficulty are being regulated, the former so that it doesn’t disrupt the story. Powerful demons and such are being prepared for the game’s end content.
- Some sort of Tenko feature will certainly be put in.
- You’ll mingle with characters from the previous game every now and then.
- There will be purification ceremonies.
- You can broadcast sound on PS4 this time.
- Thee will be six areas each with different features. Scenery from the previous game, such as castles, will also appear.
- Studio 4C will make a promotion anime and manga for Toukiden 2. The manga will begin in the June 27-launched issue of Dengeki Maou. Illustration is by Tousen, Yuu Hijikata, and Yoshiada Tsutsumi.

Toukiden 2 first official trailer

Koei Tecmo has released the first official trailer for Toukiden 2.

The open-world sequel was dated in Japan this weekend. It will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita in the country on June 30, and a PlayStation 4 demo will release on April 11.

Toukiden 2 Demo von Koei Tecmo geplant

19.04.16 - Koei Tecmo bereitet eine Demo des Action RPGs Toukiden 2 (PS4, PS3, PS Vita) für die PS Vita vor. Das teilt der Publisher mit.

Eine PS4-Demo ist schon seit dem 10.04.16 in Japan zu haben - einen Termin für die PS Vita Demo gibt's noch nicht. Release: 30.06.16 (Japan)

Toukiden 2 adds new Oni Onuhouko, new characters

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu confirms a new Oni and group of characters set to appear in Koei Tecmo’s upcoming Toukiden 2.

■ Oni

Onuhouko

A big Oni that lurks around areas such as the woods. Its insect-like body is covered in a hard outer shell, and when it finds its prey makes the best of its many legs to quickly draw nearer and attack with the the sharp nails on both of its arms.

■ Characters

Kaguya

The Sacred Shrine Maiden who protects Mahoroba Village. As one of the few with the ability to protect the village by erecting a barrier, she is treated with great care. She herself is constrained and goes out seeking freedom in secret.

Yakumo

Weapon: Pair of swords. He is captain of the imperial guards that protects the Sacred Shrine Maiden. He has vowed his absolute loyalty to Kaguya.

Kuon

A Shrine Maiden dedicated to appeasing the Mitama. She has a cheerful personality and doesn’t discriminate against anyone. She runs a small restaurant for fun and profit.

Toukiden 2 is due out for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita on June 30 in Japan.
